curtins
who said im reading their catalogs?!?!? I see it when i get the mail then quickly tuck it under something else yeah and if their catalogs are geared towards women (guys dont usually buy women's underwear and thongs) then why are the models in such skanky, suggestive, porn star like poses? Its really no different than porn. i honestly dont get it- women dont wanna see porn stars when they're buying stuff (at least i wouldnt think so) so the catalog is obviously geared towards guys to look at as a 1st priority then women as a 2nd

I think girls basically want to look sexy and alluring. Though I could be wrong. I just think victoria's secret makes good underwear and their sales are well priced and timed. crusader1234
The point is that (their target) women want to look sexy, and if the underwear and model looks sexy, they'll buy the underwear.
MichaelFilo
Uhhh... eek... And yes burning sinful stuff has always seemed like a fun idea, it's like being able to breathe. I never done it, but I dream of burning down sinful places too. I probably shouldn't, but just saying. As far as it being lustful and such, yeah, but thats everwhere, so unless your closing your door and not comming out after your done with puberty and had your mid-life crisis then you better get used to it. Its out there, don't look at it. They are sick monkeys, but then again, women tend to wan tto looka s beautiful as possible and putting stunning women all over the place showing off the socially accepted perfect body image out there, women will imagine they'd look the same in the clothes. Sick monkeys, I know, but what ar eyou gonna do, they have a grasp over consumers. God bless, Mikey
Birgitta Noel
Someone told me that if you are a guy and you get their catalogues that they have different prices (higher) than in the catalogues they send to the women. LOL It's male exploitation I tell you!

Fidei Defensor
I burned a heretical magazine with an article trying to challenge the nativity. I cut out the pretty pictures then burned the magazine
Laudate_Dominum
Some of the most beautiful women I've ever known were radically modest dressers. Honestly when I see women dressed in highly revealing and suggestive clothes it kind of makes me uninterested in them. I don't know if the image of beauty that is popular is really true. I think all kinds of girls are gorgeous not just ones who resemble underwear models. For example I was at a restaurant a while back and something about the waitress was just so cute to me although objectively speaking she was plump and lacking many of the features that are typically associated with a hot babe. This happens all the time, so I wish the mainstream media at least had a broader idea of feminine beauty because there is beauty in all kinds of body types and styles. This might sound gross, but I once had a crush on a girl who drank coffee excessively and had pretty stained teeth but for some reason I thought it was cute in her case. Anyway.. I forgot the point I was originally intending to make.. [SIZE=1][SIZE=1][SIZE=1]
Laudate_Dominum
Oh yeah, the point is that its messed up that in our culture we are supposed to think that women need to look and act a certain way to be hot. There is also a false idea that what makes a girl a babe is what her body looks like, that's only part of it if you ask me, and quite frankly I think a lot of girls who look quite different than the underwear models are hotter.. And let's face it, it doesn't get any more gorgeous than pregnant women. In my opinion at least.

JazzforJesus
I personally like the girls that arent really out there to impress a guy. The way i fell in love with my ex (now friends) was by personality. she was not out to impress guys... she had 7 layers of clothing... she was cold. EcceNovaFacioOmni
I think they're geared at men. The men in turn make their wives buy the stuff.
