A nation is not defined solely by its origins, nor by the religion of its founders, but by the principles they used in framing the government.

And it's a good thing we're a republic and not a democracy.

Those principles are anti-Catholic. Legitimate Authority resides in the Church. Temporal Authority resides in those the who derive their authority from the Church. The Church has not chosen to give any authority to this country.

Let's not argue about terms, a democracy can be defined as a state where authority is assumed to derive from the people not from God. This country fts that definition and frequently uses it to define itsself as a democrracy.

The people get their power from God. That is clearly noted in the framers' documents.

Democracy is not contrary to God, if used properly. God wishes us to work to control His creation...that's democracy...but He doesn't want us to abuse that authority. Democracy is intrinsically good (not my favorite form of government, but still)...but we misapply it and misuse it all the time.

Ok, isn't there some restrictions on scanning and copying money? :P

Another tricky issue about the whole "defacement of money" issue. What about those "squish a picture into a penny" machines you find at theme parks, zoos and other places? They obviously render the penny to an unuseable form (unlike stamping a phrase on a dollar bill such as Phatmass)

No not from GOD, not from the Triune God. From a secularized force, who is not personal. From the God of eighteenth century deists.

Democracy is mob rule and a pagan concept that has barely been civilised by christianity.. And the only govs. God has revealed himself as founding are not democratic (The ancient Israelites were ruled by judges, and then by kings; the Church, on this earth, is governed by the Pope who is a king). And more to the point the Church still crowns kings to this day.

I'm sure there is a law against this sort of thing. Money is something that is exchanged for goods and services, it is not a means of advertising. If it was, all sorts of negative messages would appear on one dollar bills, messages the Catholics would be up in arms about. In any case, it would attract negative publicity. It's a cheap, tacky way of advertising, and probably illegal. Not even Pro Choice or neo Nazi movements stoop to this kind of lowliness, so neither should we.
