popestpiusx
PSPX was joking. It's kind of a long story... but here goes: Some of the people here are given the "phishy" title meaning that something they said (or many things they say) are not in line with the Church. Usually, these are schimatics or such. The webmaster, dUSt, labels them such so that new people won't be lead astray from Church teaching by them. PSPX was labeled phishy for some reason (and it hasn't been changed). He's a traditional Catholic, but not a schismatic. Anyway, I think he was trying to be ironic.
Sorry. Didn't mean to cause confusion.

cimlog
My family always says they are Catholic, but I am not sure they live it. So I grew up in a family where just going to church was ok. But through some unbelieable experiences God has touched me and illuminated my journey. Soon after I found some awesome friends that were Catholic and their frequent, faithful practices transformed my life style. Phatmass has definately increased my desire to learn more about my faith and has inspired to truly live my faith. God bless.
sweetpea316
Not really fair, 'cause I'm not a convert yet... but If I do decide to join the church it would have a direct coorelation to my finding phatmass. An interest...that probably would have been passing...has become an addiction. I'm going to the Christian Bookstore later today to try to pick up some titles that have been recomended to me by peeps here. And a Catholic bible. Phatmass has been a good thing for me, no matter where "My Catholic Journey" ends.
I like the way you put it... If I do ever convert, it won't be only because of phatmass. It started out from learning about the Church from an amazing person in my life. But, phatmass has done sooo much to educate me more about everything. (and its just fun too!) So, while it isn't the sole reason I've had considerations, it has definitely played a part in getting me to where I am now. Thanks phatmass phamily!!
Quietfire
Ive been taking a break from Phatmass lately. Lots of new people coming in and I dont always "get" their point, ya know? So, even though I've been told that I'm hard to read sometimes, it's nice to find out that there are those who are harder than me. LOL Phatmass has been amazing in helping me to realize that there is only ONE path. Some folks on this board are blessings, even if they've had to hit me upside the head a few times, theyve always done it with love and I never will forget that. Dust, this place is the best. I want you to know that even though Ive been incredibly busy lately and havent spent as much time here as Id like to, I still check in from time to time to see what is up and do some light reading. I had to cut back cause I was spending so much time online that the seasons changed a few times and I didnt even notice!!! God bless Dust and Phatmass. Still learning! cmotherofpirl
Phatmass didn't make me Catholic, but it helps keep me Catholic on a daily basis. As my new T shirt says "Amen I do believe".

CarpeDiem88
I almost decided not to convert after reading some attack that a Catholic posted on here. But I decided that wasn't the direction to go. So then I came back on and Phatmass did actually direct my path. I secretly read stuff on here for a while without posting anything.
cmotherofpirl
Like everything else, we are not born good, virtuous, or kind. Grace helps but we still have to work at it. No one should enough power over you that their words can keep you from the Church.
