spathariossa
(Others can post comments but not story! Just Hyper and myself ) The girl stood up and walked outside, breathing in the fog through her nose and exhaling with the deepest of sighs; the night air was cool and calming but tainted with the slightest hint of despair. spathariossa
It had been months since he had left for war - he had girded on his armor and proudly strode off to join the Bunnigensian crusades; she missed her pet rabbit.

hyperdulia again
"Bernard, my beloved, how could you be decieved by the Spathariossan heresy. Bunnies were never armored, until that foul and un-holy allience 'the Sisterhood' decieved them." She wept bitterly, her tears flowed as thickly as the Maesap blossom's dew. spathariossa
"Even though you smote your enemies," she continued, "And killed five thousand of the unarmoured traitors, you yourself succumbed in battle," she sobbed, "But at least your cause was ultimately victorious - you most noble of creatures." crusader1234
The old 'novel' was actually extremely well written, and the content was at least reasonably... you know... good.
Are you questioning my writing ability or my choice of topics? I'll have you know that this is both an insightful and witty spoof of the chivalric ballads of the 12th century. crusader1234
I'm not questioning your writing ability, but the topic is most certainly questionable... lol. Not all of us know what bunnigensians are. Anyways, I wasn't aware that the 12th century produced many ballads....
Well Chivalric literature could be termed stories but they often rhyme and were intended to be read or more often sung aloud. And if I said Albigensian crusades, and had her sobbing over a human this sort of over the top dialogue would be completely accurate.
hyperdulia again
Her mother, joined her on the veranda. "My dear child you have lost your mind. When will these mad ravings about bunnies cease. Your Bernard fell in no war. We ate him with some cabbage over five months ago--he was purchased for this specific purpose, and we only had him for a day. If you had become attached to him, why two, then three, and then four helpings of him?" The older woman picked her teeth.
