Sanvean
GONNA BE A BEAR In this life, Im a woman. In my next life, Id like to come back as a bear. WHen you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.
Bears don't hibernate. Nope. Squirrels hibernate. Some small animals enter torpor, but bears enter winter dormancy. The definitions have to do with basal metabolic rates and body temperature. One of the few things I took out of Environmental Animal Physiology.

Maddalena
Male bears don't stay with their mate, though, and they are just as likely to attack their cubs as a male bear that isn't the mate. >_> Mama would smack anyone who fooled with her babies. *joins Sanvean*
