right, think on the dead, meditate on death, you gain wisdom from death and thinkin on the lives of those past. Read ecclesiastes.

Offer prayer and praise them tho??? I dunno, only God is pefect and Holy and worthy of praise from what Ive read

Why bother. Your ears are closed, your eyes are lidded, your heart is hardened, you won't listen anyway. You still haven't responded to Hebrews 13:7.

that was my response regarding imitating there faith..where in there does it say pray to the saints?

I ask, who are you to make that judgement when I'm clearly interested in what you believe and why you believe it.

Remeber, imitate. That's not worship.

Alive in Chirst. That's not dead.

Paul is dead. Peter is dead. Abraham is dead, etc., etc. What does being dead on Earth have to do with anything? Unless you beleive once you die on earth, that's it. Your dead and non-existent.
seems to have alot to do with Gods opinion in deuteronomy
So I assume you keep kosher then? When was the last time you sacrificed a bull to God for the sins you've committed? Seems to me you care about the letter of God's words in the old testament a lot when it suits you and not at all when it would show you a hypocrite.

i ask where in hebrews does it say to praise those past. I see imitate their faith but when, where, and how does that interpret into praise and prayer I ask?
Remember those...how does remembrance have anything to do with praise?

Yes remember the dead, and regarding your old testiment views, Yeshua's teachings where based on old covenant principles such as the 10 commandments...

certianly prophesies where fullfilled that had to be so God could reconcile His relationship with us, but His promises and words remain true. Alot of the old testiment is even further magnified by what Christ did.

I think a better question would be why you choose to rely on a sola scriptura basis for Christianity when scriptures as we now know them didn't exist till the 4th century - well after the Catholic church had been founded. So technically, the Catholic church wrote your bible that you're then trying to employ against it. Seems kinda nonsensical to me.

So you're saying some stuff was fulfilled and some stuff wasn't. And miracle of miracles, the stuff that was fulfilled is the stuff you don't worry about and the stuff that was enhanced is the stuff you rant about. Hmmm....

If you like the big picture then why do you choose to ignore Church teachings and writings outside of the sacred scriptures?
