Guest JeffCR07
well I'm gonna get my Masters from Steubenville first (assuming I can get in). I think thats a two year program. Then I'd like to get my Licentiate and Doctorate from either the Regina Apostolorum or the Gregorian.
Q the Ninja
I was looking into that school myself for a while. Isn't a licentiate pretty much a Masters? My old advisor said it was pretty much as though he was repeating his degree. What are your plans for your degree?
Guest JeffCR07
A Masters in the US is less then a Licentiate in Europe, so even once I have my masters, it would be necessary to go through the Licentiate program. After you complete a Licentiate, only the dissertation is necessary in order to achieve a Doctorate. After I get my degree (is this what you're asking?) I'd really like to teach theology at the college level, publish, teach RCIA, and perhaps do some apologetics work. - Your Brother In Christ, Jeff
Q the Ninja
That's what I thought. Thanx. I am doing my theology degrees in Roma as well...all three levels maybe at Santa Croce. Edited January 12, 2005 by Q the Ninja
Guest JeffCR07
thats awesome! when do you start, and how long do you plan on being there?
Q the Ninja
I'll begin the year I finish my degree...2007. Right now I'm a sophomore (kinda a junior) at UD getting a philosophy degree and learning Italian, Latin, and Greek. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to get my degree, but I'll be there at least all those years.
Guest JeffCR07
Thats wonderful. I'm a sophomore too, and I'm studying Italian in all the time that I have between the double-major thing. Hopefully I'll see you in Rome in a couple years!
