Dogmatic Relativism

Winchester

Recommended Posts

I just read a quote about catmas, which confused me until I ciphered out it was a play on the "dog" in "dogma".

Clever, clever.

I'm not trying to be snippy here (it just comes naturally, I don't have to try), but since not having set "dogmas" is the basis for this "catma", does the fluidity not then become the rigidity, the foundation stone, as it were, of this seemingly relativisitic position? I see no difference, unless it be in less dogmas rather than in more. I have more to say, but this is a rich bed of loam, is it not?

Winnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

You've been missed.

(O my, did I really react thusly?).

Yes, I agree that the fluidity becomes the rigidity.

We're all slaves of someone.

Slaves to self = slaves to the devil

Slaves to the World = slaves to the devil

Accepting no dogma is a dogma, and a self-serving one.

(Hyper's life's been crazy, too).

Alright, so stuff about druidism changed, the rituals are less bloody.

But where's the warlike pride. To me that's the best part of most pagan religions, the warlike pride. Also, pagans make a mean apple streusel, most no longer use the nether organs of virgins for it, either, which increases its shelf-life. There are other things about paganry I would have lauded, but this is a family site.

I'm just trying to make this more interesting thatn "bump" in the hopes that the druid guy will see it and talk.
