cathqat
who is Yahushua???? and who is Yahuwah???
These are transliterations of Jesus and YHWH. "Yahushua" is much, much closer than "Jesus" to the real pronunciation of the name, however. He's clearly a member of a "Sacred Name Movement." When I went to Grand Valley State University they had a guy who would walk around campus calling all the woman s l u t s, carrying a Bible, and declaring that only him and his family were really saved. Alot of people, protestant and catholic tried to talk to him. Honestly, I believe these guys have mental disorders. melporcristo
well ... i e-mailed the guy. Here is what i said ... -------------------------------- To Whom It May Concern: It appears to me that you have spent a great amount of time writing this letter, coming up with these arguments against the Catholic faith. I would like you to know that I would much rather see you doing good than bad against us Roman Catholics. Instead, be the best Christian you can be and that should be the basis of your faith. Do not spend so much time spreading false fallicies against my faith when it appears that you have not studied the faith enough. To answer some of your questions concerning the Catholic Christian faith (Catholic by the way means universal -- making us Universal Christians). As Catholics, we believe Peter was the first pope. Please refer to Matthew 16:13-19. Jesus was not going to leave His people without some form of authority. The papicy took place after Jesus ressurected, and what did Christ say to Peter before He rose to heaven? Feed my sheep. You can't over look that and say that Peter was not to be the first pope of the Christian Church. Now remember, Jesus promises that even the Gates of Hell will not prevail. And as I read your letter, I ask you, if the Church is so "evil", why has the Church been very alive for 2000 years? We are still here ... your "concerns" cannot get rid of us. I am praying for you friend, whoever you are, wherever you are. I pray that there is peace in your heart. If you get the chance and still have more questions, go to http://phorum.phatmass.com/index.php?showforum=3. On this site there is an inter-faith forum so you can discuss the issues you have against the Church and get fast replies. We'll be praying for you. Pax Christi, Melissa "Let us begin this new year with a resolution. Be all for Jesus and with Jesus and you will be happy and holy throughout the year. Give yourselves over prayer and close union with God and to a deep, joyful charity." ~Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, pray for us. ---------------------------------------------------------- It sounds like the guy is afraid of Thessalonian since he stopped e-mailing him. The guy really could be mentally ill. But I am praying for him. Also, isn't it interesting that Christ had us worship Him in the bread and wine and yet most are so full of pride they can't? This is how I view our friend "Buck". Pax, Mel
ironmonk
Here is his latest email to me and my reply.... I'm now a servant of satan and an idiot. It's a funny sad or sad funny... I do think he might be a bit mental... hehehe... he blocked my email, but hey... emails are free to setup... LOL So it just came from another of my accounts.
From: Buck Castleberry [mailto:buck@considerthis.net] Sent: Monday, January 03, 2005 10:39 AM To: Max Subject: Re: Roman Catholic On top of being a servant of satan you are also an idiot. You are now blocked from my server. Goodbye, Max. May Yahuwah have mercy on you.
-----Original Message----- From: Max II Sent: Monday, January 03, 2005 8:22 PM To: buck@considerthis.net Subject: Your website Dear Buck, God Bless. I'll take your last email as that you could not find anything wrong with the Catholic Church writings, and I pray, along with a few friends, that you one day come to Christ. If your website was true, then you would have been able to prove it with references to Catholic writings on Catholic websites. Buck, lying is a sin against God, Christ said if you love Him you would keep His commandments. If you can't even prove a single attack on the Church, then how can you sleep with yourself at night? Do you actually believe the lies you wrote? Either you are a liar or a fool. A liar speaks falsely of his neighbor. A fool doesn't research the attacks on his website. Whichever it is, you can fix it Buck... All you have to do is look at the links I sent you. It must be miserable to preach lies about the Catholic Church that you cannot back up. See, we are in the age of information, and anyone that goes to your site can go to a Catholic site and see that you are grossly wrong. By the way, what exactly are you? What's your denom? Is it the Church of Buck with Pope Buck? Are you infallible, which means that you are always right about Scripture? So many questions to ask, I would be happy to read your answers... yet you can't pick any of your topics which you claim to be true and prove them with Catholic writings? Something smells fishy Buck... I'll be sure to refer more people to your site... I'm going to help you get more traffic. Your site will help push people to the Catholic Church because of all the errors on it.... St. Augustine said it best.... "THE CATHOLIC FAITH MAY BE CONFIRMED EVEN BY THE DISSENSIONS OF THE HERETICS." The City of God (Book XVIII) chapter 51. http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/120118.htm If you don't know, St. Augstine was one of the Catholic Bishops guided by the Holy Spirit in canonizing the New Testament. Please, if I'm wrong about the Catholic Church, just show me with the Catholic writings and I'll believe you. By the way... As long as you don't reply, I will not email you again... if you reply, you give me the right to reply to you. If you don't me to reply to you, then just don't reply to me. You are guilty of libel. ) Smile, Christ still loves you. God Bless, your servant in Christ, max
ironmonk
Wow... I'm not sure I've come into contact with someone like this so far out in left field except for the Branch Dividian type that a PM'ers sister is dealing with... http://www.netease.net/members/buck/articles.htm Here is a quote from the "If you are Christian" article:
...If you really do love Him, you will apply yourself to the learning of His commandments and how to attain to the gracious gift He offers to all who trust AND obey. .... If you are a member of any of the catholic denominations, whether it is Roman, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, American, or any of the myriad other catholic versions, or even if you are in one of the offshoots of Roman Catholicism who still obey (albeit unknowingly) her dictates and who are called Protestant, you are in serious trouble and not a Christian at all.
Maybe someone here can rewrite this guy's intro... "Welcome to the Church of Buck, where Prophet Buck is here to guide you and tell you what an idiot you are. Prophet Buck has been given the gift of insight and already knows what you believe and your church teaches. He can even tell you your favorite color, food, and much more" I would say sign his guestbook but it's not working.... melporcristo
you are right about our friend. he sounds like he has made himself the pope of his own church! people are asking him questions as if he knows everything and as if what he says is true. oh boy ... sad sad stuff on that webpage. The man is not a very good debater either. Using words to put down the other person personally is definately a terrible mistake one can do in a debate. Definately praying for the guy. ironmonk
I would bet this guy is a racist... Look at the bottom... Confederate Pride - webmaster: Steve Monk
The top four are emails to him... I didn't surf the bottom two much, but they're by no means an authority... Also, he labels the New Testament Scriptures as the Messianic Scriptures... What a prime example of misinformation on the internet... Messianic Scriptures were the Messorah - which are the OT Scriptures from 90 AD, which the KJV uses. Whereas we Catholics use the Septuagint from 293 BC - the same Scriptures which Christ and the Apostles used. God Bless, ironmonk

No telling how psycho this guy could get. He does think we're servants of satan, I wouldn't put it past him to show up to a Catholics house heavily armed.
