spathariossa
You feel fine not wearing my patron's medal?
I have too many of your patron's medal. My chaplet is benedictine so it has one. Then my scapular has an attached medal of St. Benedict. Then my cross is a crux sancti patris benedicti. So, that's 3 that I wear all the time lol. Tink
just for clarification, Tony, I do have a strong devotion to St. Brigid (my confirmation saint) and St. Patrick and St. Christopher, whom have been involved with several miraculous events in my life! They remain with me, not just as jewelry, but as reminders of several important lessons I have learned.

The Benedictine monks were solely responsible for my return to God and eventually the Church. So St. Benedict is important to me. St. Jeanne is my patron. St. Gabriel is the archangel I pray to most and St. Martin of Tours reminds me of my duties to the poor.
allis-challmers
I wear a miraculas metal and a scapular metal that I got from my church when I got my first communion in the second grade about 12 years ago or so. Not a brown scapular but a metal scapular metal. I don't wear any other medals for a guy two metals around my kneck is enough
MilesChristi
+JMJ+ I usually stick with just a crucifix. When I wear more than one medal, the chains tend to get all tangled.
karin
just remember the medals are for devotional purporses.. if someone has a ton of medals they wear I kind of doubt they have a devotion to all of them
 Tony!!!!!!!! I will have you know i have a devotion to all 7 of my medals. Is it impossible to have a devotion to that many people? So you only have to pick like 2 people you can be devoted to? humph! anyway here are my medals: I have one medal of Blessed (or is it saint now?) Faustina she is an awesome person and reminds me to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Next is my Padre Pio medal which my mother gave me. Next is my Four way Cross which is so cool cause on the back it says I am a catholic please call a priest. you know in case you are found injured some where , Next is a cross that was given to me as an award for being the most enthusiastic at an ecyd mini convention, it is from Rome that has the symbol for God on it, you know the P with the line throught it and an O and an A for Alpha and Omega. After that I have a miraculous medal which should be obvious why i wear that. Then i have a medal that has saint Cecilia on one side and Saint Genesius on the other my music director told me that they were patron saints of musiccians and i am in the chior. And last but not least a Crusifix. I also wear a brown crusader scapular that just happens to have a small crusifix and miraculous medal attached. Random bit of trivia it is the same kind of scapular that mel gibson wears around his neck hehe. And I always wear my chastity ring which i got for my 13th birthday, it is a gift wrapped heart. When ever i take it off to cook or something my hand feels naked. Karin
cathqat
I've got a pentacle necklace, but I don't see it on the list...
That qualifies as "one medal." It's on the list. A pentangle or pentacle is a good choice. According to medieval symbolism, it represents the five joys of Mary (now "the Joyful Mysteries" of the Rosary) and the five wounds of Christ. Sir Gawain has one on his shield, for example, in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

melporcristo
i wear my brown scapular (even tho its falling apart) and my medal from my quincenera of Our Lady as a sign of purity (of course). I used to have the Holy Love bead necklace, but I took it off because ppl said it was creepy, so then I lost it! Thats what I get though ... here is a pic of what the bead looked like:Rosary for the Unborn
