No, one doesn't HAVE to subscribe to Thomistic explanations with regards to the bread and wine changing into the Body and Blood of Our Lord - what did people do before Thomas? ;)

I have my own questions about Thomistic metaphysics; however, I subscribe to it because it explains the most about a reality that need explaining.
