Guess Whom I Met!
Because "who" is part of the clause. "Guess who is phatmasser?" has a "who" because the "who" is the subject of the linking verb "is" while "guess whom I met?" has a "whom" because "whom" is the object of the verb "met."
Just thought I'd stick my nose in and point out that "Guess who is phatmasser?" is a grammatical abberation. It would have to be "Guess who Phatmasser is" or "Guess who is a phatmasser!" I really agree with the Nazi, though, and think it works either way (hah, never though't I'd end up saying that sentence!)
