I met Laura (hugheyforlife) and James (Theoketos) today!!! :D

Laura is awesome and has two little siblings, Joseph and Eve, and they're bunches of fun!

James is...different than I imagined. :P James drove me back to my aunt's house and we got chased by some nutter in a truck in the middle of nowhere.
that is sooo AWESOME!!

im so glad you guys got to meet up! :bounce:
Because "who" is part of the clause. "Guess who is phatmasser?" has a "who" because the "who" is the subject of the linking verb "is" while "guess whom I met?" has a "whom" because "whom" is the object of the verb "met."
I think my disagreement with you wasn't concerning your grammar but rather the declension of who. I was under the impression that who was nominative and accusative whereas whom was solely a dative. However, upon further investigation it would seem that whom is actually both accusative and dative whereas who is solely nominative. Go figure.
