Nihil Obstat
what is the harm? I am looking for something... will let you know when I find it. Almost nobody from 2003 is still posting. These discussions have no context and since none of the participants are still present there is no hope of maintaining an organic discussion. In the meantime it clutters up the boards with irrelevant threads.Start new threads. Threads from 2003 are good for re-reading. Not reviving. If you find what you are "looking for", bump that one thread. Not everything else you come across in the meantime. Didacus
I am not bumping everything and the topics I bump are still pertinent today. I include (usually) constructive comments and several are jumping in at times. Unless of course the thread gets pirated - like this one! If you don't like the 12 year old thread then don't jump in it. I fail to see a problem here... maybe it's just me.

One or two old threads once in a while, sure. You have done what, like fifteen in the last week? More? Bad form.
Didacus
Do I look like a guy who adheres to etiquette? It isn't any worse than hi-jacking a thread - like you're doing. Why not start a new thread? Hasn't this month been designated revive old threads-month? Edited October 3, 2015 by Didacus

There is no discussion left to be derailed, because the discussion ended - on its own - over ten years ago.

Anomaly
Personally, I enjoy these old threads. I was posting under another name back then as were others that are still here. Winchester used to post under "Monarchist". Maybe some of posters are old, but is is nice to see how much more civil everyone used to be. Besides, some of the topics are relevant. Jack Chick tracts are stil around. Edited October 4, 2015 by Anomaly
AccountDeleted
Yea, I have no problem with the old threads either. I don't go back and re-read over all the old stuff, so when one is resurrected, it's interesting to me. I wasn't around until 2007, so the ones older than that are all new to me, not old! Oremus Pro Invicem
I agree with Nihil that necro posting is poor forum etiquette; nevertheless, there are no rules listed against necroposting in the phorum guidelines for this site. As for Mr. Chic I agree with dominicansoul. With the type of hate Mr. Chic has, it can only be met with prayer.
