He hears 'em in Italian, too, can't you see?

There's one guy at St. Mary Major who can hear 'em in...lemme 'member....

English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, and Latin.

I think I got 'em all. He's a genius (and one heck of a confessor, too).

We have a room near the tabernacle where the priest would normally hear confessions (it's a basic room that is partly used for storage of religious/altar items and has a screen with two chairs). Though considering I usually make my confession before Mass and that I'm an altar server, I make my confession in the changing room (not sound proof, so we speak quietly).

My confessional is not soundproof. It doesn't even have a door, just a curtain, so you can hear everything unless you stand way back, which most people don't. Rude.
At my parish in GR the confessional is fairly sound proof. The line starts next to the door and I've never heard anything. Here in Steubie though we have confession 4 nights a week and with about 2,200 students coming the friars are scattered around the chapel usually seperated by about 20 feet or so. Everyone is quiet enough that you don't hear any confessions.
Brother Adam, I am just curious to know, as someone who, once I learned good I feel after confession goes often and loves it, how you feel about confession compared to what you used to think about confession before your reversion . ..

I am not sure if you were one of those people who was indignant at having to "confess your sins to a man" but personally I love it, because the wall doesn't talk back! Just wondering your take on all of it.

lol. I made a few posts on this a while back. I love confession. I've experienced more healing from the scars and wounds of sin in the few short times I've been than in all of the time of praying and confession directly to God. It is indeed a sacrament, very a live and real. My life has been altered through confession.
