I like Sam. He reminds me of Jesus. Sam was there for Frodo through thick and thin, and never stopped helping Frodo even when Mr. Ring-Bearer rejected him. He was always there to save him...

orlando is too much of a pretty boy, and his acting his weak...sry grls...its really a tie for me btwn viggo and gollum...iono, and the thiird was the best by far!

Actually...I was rather impressed with Orlando's performance in LotR.

Viggo Mortensen, Andy Serkis, Billy Boyd, Elijah Wood, and Christopher Lee are my top five acting-wise in the trilogy. :)

[/quote] that was his best film, bc he wasnt half as good in pirates of the caribean...i was basing what id said about his acting on all the films ive seen him in...his voice doesnt change a bit! viggo is awesome in both films ive seen him in (lotr, and hidalgo) and andy serkis, thats just awesome

Sir Ian McKellen does a phenominal job as Gandalf. How could you not like Gandalf? Also, John Rhys-Davies kicks proverbial butt as Gimli. "There is one dwarf in Moria who still draws breath!" I may not have the quote perfect, but you get the drift. It's hard not to picture Sallah buried somewhere in that dwarf.
