stagefairy
Dentists don't give you the grace to change bad habits, but they expect it anyways!
franciscanheart
dentist for sure because if you didnt do what you were supposed to you just get in trouble and you never hear the end of it. when you go to Jesus He cleans you of your sins and forgives you. i dont know any dentist who does that! McKenzie
My dentist never asks me what I do or don't do, so I picked Confession, for that reason only. However, my dentist is a real jerk-- he's not rude or anything like that. He just never uses enough anesthesia to make me not feel anything. (I have bad problems with anesthesia-- it takes a lot to work, and it wears off of me really fast-- and he knows that. But does he care? Oh no! Does he try to make my stay comfortable? No way! He's a mean man. And I don't like him. Nope. Not at all. I'd rather go to Confession any old day. For example, I was supposed to have had a dentist appt. this week, but we slept thru it. I was soooo scared. I don't like him. Then again, I'm also going to Confession this weekend. Am I scared? Heck yes, but I know it's not so bad and I'd rather confess everything then spend eternity in hell. There is no fear-factor involved in avoiding the dentist-- no "teeth hell" or the like. Just your teeth may rot and fall off. But that's ok. Evil dentist! And mum won't let us change dentist, because she still owes him money. Does that make sense? Nope--let's just keep going to him to keep our bill increasing. When, oh when does it end? I am sick and tired of Mr. Evil Dentist. /rant
