spathariossa
excuse me for being ignorant, but what does that mean? youre becoming catholic (roman rite)??
I was baptized Catholic and raised Catholic. All of my extended family is Catholic. For the past 4 months I have been a catechumen in the Orthodox Church. However, I've decided not to continue with my catechism in Orthodoxy but instead return to Catholicism and get confirmed.

cmotherofpirl
When I was your age I decided to become an atheist because no one in my local parish could or would answer my questions. When I discovered the universal Catholic Church outside my little spot, and discovered there were consistant answers to every question, I came home. Thank You St Francis. The big Catholic world welcomes you back Edited December 13, 2004 by cmotherofpirl

spathariossa
Orthadoxy is RAD!!!!
Yes it is. But Orthodoxy fails to provide good solid dogmatic answers to the questions of papal supremacy and the filioque. It can't even tell me why the phrase "The Holy Spirit proceeds from..." is in the Creed other than that it is scriptural. Blech.

"Orthodoxy is rad" is a slogan we have here. it doesn't refer to the Orthodox, but rather to the 'right teaching' that we strive to find in our Catholic Faith. I hope that you find answers to your questions.
