Also, I have heard this ridicoulus rule about dividing the age by half then adding seven, which would work in your case.
^_^ Never heard that before but it gives me hope ^_^

(the guy I like is 17 and I'm almost 19)

About 50 years ago in Lebanon it was very common that someone very old would want to marry (unda Church) to someone very young (example: 30 to a 15). It only worked with men being older though and it's not common anymore.

I'm 22, and I'd consider having a relationship with a guy between the ages of 19-32. As long as age falls within the confines of legality, it's more a matter of prudence. Sure, it'd be acceptable for me to date an 18-year-old guy, but would I want to?

Oh, by the way, my boyfriend is actually 70. Ha! I'm kidding!

God bless,

Jen

hyperdulia again

The Church does not have some table that dictates the acceptable age difference. As long as the parties are over the age of majority in their land and keep Christ at the center of the relationship there is no issue. When you are 93 and he is 100 that gap wll not seem so large.
