spathariossa
You (spathariossa) seem to get so much joy out of something that causes the Lord so much pain. He prayed fervently for unity. You delight in division...
I pray at every church service for the unification of the church. All Orthodox christians do. However, not in one Catholic service I have ever been to have I found the prayer for re-unification to be a part of the service. Think about that. Also think about the fact that your Bishop excommunicated all of Eastern Christianity. We disagreed with some of the dogma you invented but we didn't excommunicate you for it. So really, look who's talking.
spathariossa
You know, I left the Protestant Church for the Catholic Church and I do not get "gleeful" when a Protestant says I am in error. I feel sorrow for the division. Perhaps your stance on the homosexuality thread should also be considered here.
My stance on the homosexuality thread is a refusal to delight in the sorrow of others. A sentiment you clearly don't share. It doesn't matter to me that they're wrong. They are people. Even if the government made the right decision that isn't cause for celebration. We should instead look forward to the coming battles not in laws and governmental affairs but rather within the soul of every person who identifies as a homosexual. I'm sorry if that doesn't fit your catholic view of things. I guess universal only applies to straight, sane, and able-bodied.
I reserved that criticism for someone else. For you I have shown how nonsensical your accusations directed towards me were. Really, think about it. How many times have you prayed for the re-unification of the Church? I do it specifically 7 times per week and more depending on my morning and evening prayer petitions. Balthazor
The reason I put the sarcasm on the bottom of my posts is because I have been taken literally before. Sad but true.
spathariossa
I am sorry I had better stop with the sarcasm before SINNER chews me out. Seriously Sparthariossa. I like you. I like to tease too.
I agree. Teasing is fun. And having a perverse pride of being called a schismatic just comes from the fact that the term is so loaded with negative attributes that it's fun to try on. Plus you never get a chance to call someone an apostate, heretic, and schismatic in the modern world. Try it, it's fun! Edit: People took THAT literally? Ick...I'd be surprised but I'm not. Cuz for a minute there I totally thought you wanted to murder Muslim babies. But the *sarcasm* whew, that made me realize you were just kidding.
