Thy Geekdom Come
Well, I would say making a bit of physical contact would get the point across (I don't mean any immoral stuff). When you're speaking to him, put your hand on his upper arm and look him in the eyes. Let him catch you looking at him and then turn away really quickly. Laugh a lot at him, etc. If he's interested in you, he should react a bit, probably a bit nervously. Guys want to know that they are trusted. It's a huge burden to be the guy, who has to do all the initiating...I mean...rejection hurts like heck and it is probably frequent for most guys. Luckily, I am extremely intimidated by girls, so I have only ever expressed a crush to two of them, and being in love to one, so I haven't gotten rejected to many times, but it hurts even more because it confuses the heck out of me. Guys really want to be sure they are doing something prudent when they ask a girl out. It hurts terribly if they think that they will be accepted and they are not and it hurts terribly when girls take their time with it, too...I've been through drug withdrawal and a single moment with a spurned heart hurts more than a week of that. Thy Geekdom Come
don't be! we aren't that bad
Okay...let's examine this...my mother is a big feminist, but pro-life on abortion, I was forced to go to dances in fifth grade to learn to dance, the same year we were taught sex ed in a not great (but not terrible way), I have been a wallflower for at least 30 minutes at every dance I've gone to. I went to one dance in all of high school, and my girlfriend brought a friend of hers, another man, and was trying to find him all night so they could chat. She cheated on me, as well. Now can you see why I'm a bit intimidated by getting close to women? Since then, I've tried to get close and the only time I loved a girl enough, I was and am in love with her, it's torture, absolute torture. But I am compelled and I am in love, and I will wait with this torture until my dying day if it's God will. Don't put a guy through that...rejection hurts...give him some hints, but at the same time, don't be the one who officially initiates (i.e. directly)...
