Yeah, I have been there before. There is some good stuff on that one, I think, but you have to be careful (obviously) because of the clear nonsense on it. Anyway, that is the easy way out. To outright condemn everything from John XXIII on is easy; the hard (and truly Catholic) way is to take the problems in the Church and reconcile the teachings of the last few Popes (and Vatican II) with the Tradition of the Church.

Edit: by the way, their 'side-by-side' Latin-to-English of the Old Mass is not the best translation; it is a mix of "yous" and "thys" and a mix of direct, formal translations with indirect, colloquial translations, among other things. The Father Lasance translation can be found on the Una Voce website, here: http://unavoce.org/ttmass.htm

I've seen it before also... some people are delusional.

They broke off from the group and try to say that the group broke off from the group... (much like some protestants claim)... simply no logic in their arguements... and they are the only one's calling themselves Catholic.

Very sad.

God Bless,

I have seen this schismatic group before. They are very weird. lol. Although they have good motives, reforming outside the Church is never the answer. Look at Lutheranism for example. Martin Luther shattered all of Christiandom by shelfishly reforming outside the Church unlike St. Ignatius who reformed Catholcism within the Church.

I would also like to bring up amarkich's comment on Una Voce. You rock Adam! Una Voce is a great Catholic web site that promotes the use of the Tridentine Mass. Check it out! www.unavoce.org. Una Voce
Thanks for the compliment. I love Una Voce. I also have the Father Lasance Missal; that is the same translation used on the Una Voce website.
That's awesome. For Mother's Day I gave my mom a Vatican II missal of the vernacular toungue. Maybe for Christmas I should get my Mom the Father Lasance Missal. :)

"The spiritual man judgeth all things, but he himself is judged of no man" (I Cor.ii.15), and as such, we cannot deem the Pope to be a heretic (at least by our own authority; this has to be done after his death) nor can we deem him an Antipope. That said, besides the fact that their individual heresies are used under different titles (presumably just to reach the goal of 101 heresies), the actual valid points they make should be taken into account. I came across this website a long time ago when I was still a neo-con (if that) and was attending the New Mass. Late one night, I was reading that list and found myself quite shocked and scandalized by some of the Pope's actions. At the same time, however, I learned much about what the Church actually teaches by seeing the side-by-side comparison of the Pope's actions and the Church's teaching on the other side, so some of the points are quite valid in that list and should be understood properly.

Una Voce is dope.
"The International Una Voce Federation has played an important role in supporting the use of the 1962 edition of the Roman Missal in obedience to the directives of the Holy See. For this valuable service I express my gratitude to the members of the Federation and extend my blessing."

"truecatholic.org" is stupid, wierd, irrational, and schismatic. check their translation page, apparently the new official language of the Catholic Church is english for documents, but still Latin for masses! quite a contradiction. They are schismatic from the Tridentine Rite, but nowhere near universal. They are a small group of Americans who prefer a tridentine Mass and don't like the real Pope. compared to them, the SSPX looks sane and in communion. avoid radical insane people such as this unless you're just trying to bring them back to the Church. I consider them worse than protestants because they scandalize the Catholic Church whereas most protestants freely admit not being members.

There re a lot of schisms that claim to be Catholic but believe the that the pope's position is vacant since V2. If I'm not mistaken, Mel Gibson was part of one of them...? Sure they may be Catholic in tradition, but not recognizing the Vicar as our leader on Earth? That would be bad.
