cmotherofpirl
Why is not Jesus your brother, why is he your father? If Jesus is your father, Mary is your grandmother. :) Edited October 11, 2003 by cmotherofpirl

foundsheep
i still count Christ as my father, and the Holy Spirit as my father... Because they are the Trinity. They are three in one! I really can not see Mary as my mother, I believe it is wrong. JOHN 19 26 When Jesus saw his mother 11 and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son." 27 Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

I really can not see Mary as my mother, I believe it is wrong. Bleyahhh The whole Trinity cannot be your Father. Christ is our brother and our Redeemer not to mention our Lord, not our Father. Although you are right in the sense in that the three Persons of the Trinity are one God and therefore God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are also God the Son (in a way...I hope you guys get what Im trying to say here??) I really can not see Mary as my mother, I believe it is wrong. And yet if Scripture, not to mention the clear testimony of the Church through the ages, refuted you, you would still hold to your unfounded opinion? Either your view is not of God, or it is. If it is not (and we have shown that it is not) then you need to change it. As Dave has said, the Truth hurts.
ryanmeyersmusic
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if inDouche we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.

If you think of Jesus that way he can be your older brother. That can be why Jesus loves children so much, they like to follow their older brother Of course, most likely not, but hey, it sounds coo
