Trooper if you accept Jesus as your personal Savior,

you must accept Mary as your personal Mother.

If I do that, I will be accepting Mary as Jesus' wife rather than mother hey?

I believe in Jesus as my father, if anything Mary would be my grandmother!

anyways I love the person she was according to scriptures, and I hope to meet her one day. Yet that is the extent to the relationship!

Sorry, its hard to change my mind on this. If this is the truth as you say it is, Jesus will reveal it to me one day!

No, the Heavenly Father is our Father. Jesus is our Brother. You say that Jesus will reveal it to you one day if it's the truth. But will you be open to it? Jesus has been trying to reveal to you lots of things through us here at Phatmass, but you refuse to listen.

your very sure of yourself Dave, I like that. Be aware that you do not the full truth, because if you did you would not be here on earth. Unfortunately I am already a Christian, so i know the truth! Not everything that goes with, yet I am slowly learning. One day you will understand their is a greater mission for all of us....

But of course I have the full truth, and so do all Catholics! Only in the Catholic Church can one have the full truth. You may be a Christian, but because you're not Catholic, you don't have the full truth. You only have part of it. Nothing mean or arrogant about that; it's just the truth. And the truth hurts.

Trooper,

Do you believe in the Holy Trinity?

Three Divine Persons in One Godhead?

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father is the First Person of the Blessed Trinity.

The Son, Jesus Christ, is the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity.

And the Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity.

Jesus is the Son of God, and Son of Mary. Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit overshadowing Mary.

When we are baptized, we become adopted children of God the Father, and brothers and sisters of Christ. Therefore, in a spiritual sense, we become children of Mary. God is Our Father (Remember, Jesus taught us to pray the Our Father!) Jesus is our Brother, and Mary is Our Mother. The Holy Spirit is the Love that unites us.

Pax Christi. <><

i still count Christ as my father, and the Holy Spirit as my father... Because they are the Trinity. They are three in one!

I really can not see Mary as my mother, I believe it is wrong.

But you haven't given a valid reason as to why your view is the correct one -- just feelings and opinions.

Aren't you missing somebody?

God the Father?
