3 Weeks And Counting!

Brother Adam

Only three weeks until the wedding day! I'm scared and excited and nervous and jumping for joy all at the same time. There is still so much to do it seems like, and yet so much already done.

It's interesting though....the closer we get to the wedding, deep inside my attitude towards raising children has changed. I had wanted to wait a good four or five years until we had a child, but now, its almost like I can't wait to be a dad for the first time, even though we don't have a lot of money. Oh well, I'm putting trust into God's timing.

Ah... the countdown... I can't say my views on having/rearing children have changed all that much, but I definately know the "we have so much done but so much to do" feeling. By the time the big day had come around for us I just wanted for it to happen, I wasn't really nervous--Excited beyond belief, but not nervous.

What's this 'become Catholic' stuff. I thought we told you. You ARE Catholic, you just don't realize it yet.

Marriage is a rollercoaster. I'm scared, excited, and nervous about my 20th Anniversery in 4 weeks. My kids are teenagers, I've been employed for decades, and we still don't have any real money. You get used to it and then it becomes normal. I found $5 in my shirt pocket the other day at Church. I was excited for about 15 minutes. Then we had a second collection for Peter's Pence...

That's a favorite prayer . . . "My will be done -- in heaven, as it is on earth . . ."

3 weeks.

Man, wait till Teresa gets to that last week. The way my family tells it I was quite the, well, you know.

Reign in your nerves, do lots of praying, and ya'll will be fine.

God Bless!

Remember to take deep breaths... ;)

See how that "My will be done" is changing to "Thy will be done?" That's grace in action!

May God abundantly bless you and Teresa with oodles of His greatest riches: children! (The only thing you can take with you!) <_<

Ooooooo! Bro. I'm so exited for you! I know how you are feeling! Man, when I was in the Church, it was surreal. It didn't feel like it was really happening, but it was. It was just like another rehersal. You know, humans are funny creatures. We are truly creatures of habit. Erika and I got so used to waiting and preparing, that when it came and went it was like... Well, what's there to wait for anymore? It was kind of hard to let it all go. Like we wanted to continue to wait and prepare, etc. It's like we wanted to draw out the wedding because it was going to fast. I dunno. I'm just throwing out the emotions I had so that you might know you're not alone.

One things for sure though, the day that this all happens (my B'day), just forget about everything. Don't even stress or worry about anything at all. It is all out of your control that day. It's in Gods hands you know. Make sure you take a good look around you and consciously TRY to remember and absorb as much as possible. It went so quick for me! I made a conscious try at remembering things and it still is a blur. I guess that's what pics and video are for.

My prayers are with you. Make sure you let Teresa know too that I'm thinking of her. You will be soooo blessed for doing God's will. I can't wait to hear all about it.

Oh and uh... I'm not you know what, but.... I love you man *saying it really fast like I'm coughing or something*
