Kilroy the Ninja
Clear Channel changed the format of my favorite radio station here today. It was a rock station, now it's latino. I'm latino, and I want my rock back. Now, I must fix my cd player as there is no other real rock station in Houston. But I have no money to fix the player. I am sad. I've tried listening to the Catholic AM station, but it doesn't come in well enough to actually hear it. I am sad. I offer up my sadness and suffering for the poor souls in purgatory. But I am still sad. ****sigh**** Edited November 13, 2004 by Kilroy the Ninja

Kilroy the Ninja
everybody here is cool... the little guy is talking a bit now... which is neat and sometimes annoying at the same time. "MAMA" is his answer to everything. Quite a responsibility! I can't afford satellite radio. And yes, it was KLOL.
voiciblanche
Argh, Clear Channel. They changed our only rock station to "Sunny 97.1" with hits from the seventies not too long ago... Well, maybe they'll change another station sometime soon, and you'll like that one. Who knows, with them changing their stations all the time. Kilroy the Ninja
yeah I thought about that, but I don't know that I can listen to anything Clear Channel without supporting them somehow...
Tony
I am still angry at clear channel when they took away a conemporary Christian station I used to listen to and changed it to Kiss FM this was like 5 years ago too There was no announcement thatthis would happen either. One moment its WZLE, next moment everyone is fired and the format flip. I remember reading an atricle of someone turning on their radio monday morning, kids in the van, expecting to hear the wholesome sounds of WZLE, but got Prince instead. BLAZEr
I hear you Kilroy. I go to Houston three or four times a week and on Friday I was driving in and switched it to 101 . . . and all of a sudden it was a 50 Cent song with some like cumbia beat . . . way wierd. I was sad . . . so I went to 96.5 . . . but that's not really a solution . . . it's just not the same . . . I miss my 101!

Kilroy the Ninja
With the exceptions of the Phatmass cd and classical music, I don't mix my music with my faith. It just seems weird to me. Always has, probably always will. I don't want to have to think or cry when I listen to music. I avoid Christian music stations like the plague.
