Ash Wednesday
I don't think I have much else to say. Just totally shocked. I guess it's just a shock because, well, you just have a hard time imagining this kind of thing happening. Of course abortion happens every day. But still... shock! One of the jurors apparently is a devout Catholic who consulted a priest before serving on the jury. And, I suspected he did the deed, but we can't pass judgement on his soul. Either way, Peterson needs to find God. Prayers.

Ash Wednesday
Well, what the public thinks doesn't matter...guilty or not. I'm more inclined to trust a jury that's been sitting through five months of this than my own ears hearing sound bytes from the news. God have mercy on Peterson, and us all. J.R.D
What about the 2 jurors they kicked out?
Ash Wednesday
Well, one of them did her own internet research outside of court, which is a no-no. I don't know what happened to the foreman (the second one removed.)
Thy Geekdom Come
I think he did it. It may not have been beyond reasonable doubt, but who in his right mind tries to flee the country with thousands of dollars after his wife disappears? Sometimes circumstantial evidence really should be enough... The foreman was a doctor and a lawyer...I got the feeling that he was using his professional knowledge too much and talking about things that he saw that weren't mentioned in the trial... dUSt
This is the most important part of this case: "Scott Peterson has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of his wife Laci, and second-degree murder in the death of their unborn son, Conner. " Hmm... Killing the unborn is murder? Oh wait, no, it's a woman's choice... Oh wait... The law can't possibly contradict itself can it? Ash Wednesday
Yeah, the Connor factor really makes one think about abortion. I think you're right Raph, that the foreperson may have been having a difficult time with other jurors.
PaxVobis
Don't you think that having 2 jurors kicked out and 2 replacements is going to be a very easy thing to use in appeals court? Peace, Tony
J.R.D
Well they get rid of them because they couldnt find eni=ough evidence to convict him of the death penalty So what dse that tell you????
