Roe v Wade was based on the premise that the woman involved was raped and wanted to be able to get rid of her unwanted child....she wasn't raped. Furthermore, she herself was under the impression that abortions were completely unavailable to her, legally or illegally. This was also not true as the woman she was encouraged by had had an abortion the week before.
COOL! we're gonna loose dependence on foreign oil, illegalize infanticide, and the state won't recognize unnatural same sex unions.
That's what I'm thinking

LOL...

Yup. It's sad that even though he is threatening the environment (you know the thing that keeps us alive) You are preaching about having more kids.

I agree. Let them fix global warming, deforestation and the unchecked used of our water supply in the future! We'll be dead by then.

And Aluigi...

Hmm...No. Not going to happen. And if it does it will face some severe counter attacks and will even further divide this country. Remember Bush is a "uniter not a divider" and he will reach out for those who "share his goals"

1. How is preaching life in the face of death a sad thing?

2. We won't die off. We have a promise from God Himself. That doesn't mean we can try to destroy everything, but I don't think that's the intent...just a very unfortunate side effect which we are trying to relieve.

Now I won't debate.

Correction...we are preaching against the murder of unborn babies. Don't twist it around.

What good's the environment without a generation to inherit it?

4400 babies die each day from abortion. 1.3 million a year. We aren't replacing ourselves fast enough. If abortion isn't stopped, there won't be a human race left to take care of the planet.

Yes, the care of the earth if important. But if we can't even care for the weakest among us, how can we possibly believe we can take care of the rainforest and pollution? Our concerns begin with our fellow man, NOT with trees.

And now...

There is no environment left. And there is no way that we can fix the problems with the environment and pollution if we don't start now. Abortion is a totally unrelated issue. The ice caps are melting rising our ocean levels and now there has been a report that polar bears will dissappear by 2099.

It's funny how you seem to love and care for humans but don't care that it was us humans who began the destruction of this planet and we ourselves are causing each others destructions. We are the only animal that kills each other for foreign reasons and that is sad. A lion has more sense than that.

Besides this planet will blow up when the sun explodes...or implodes I don't remember.
LOL...

ARE YOU KIDDING?

We aren't replacing ourselve fast enough????

By the year 2050 there would be more than nine BILLION people and counting.

Protection of unborn babies IS forcing a woman to have a kid. Therefore I'm not twisting it around. Unless you know of any other way a anti-choice person would "protect" an unborn baby.

It's funny how you seem to think abortion is eventually going to lead to the destruction of human kind. Kind of scary. The world population is growing exponantially and abortion has a minor effect in the over all picture.

You don't care about somebody you're not going to raise. It's impossible for you to care. You might care because you think it's wrong but you can't possible care for the baby. The mother is the one that is supposed to care and in the end it's her opinion not yours that counts the most.

Okay...I'm coming out of retirement.

1. Your statistics are wrong. Azaelia will help with that.

2. Protection of unborn babies is placing a legislative punishment on women who commit an act of premeditated homocide, i.e. murder. You may interpret that to mean that it is forcing them to have babies, but don't try to act like the point is trying to make them "pump out babies" like so many pro-death people claim. The majority of these cases involve women who willingly had sex. They are making themselves have babies and if they don't want them or weren't ready for them, then that's just too bad. You cannot skip your responsibilities, especially not be killing your children. As for those who were raped, I weep for them. It is truly sad that they were raped. My exgirlfriend was a rape/incest victim. That does not, however, excuse murdering the children, who had nothing to do with the rape. Furthermore, most women who were raped actually find comfort, not anguish, in raising the child of the rapist.

3. Abortion is causing a negative population growth and is therefore materially causing the downfall of the human race. Moreover, it is causing, in large part, our moral, ethical, spiritual, and socio-economic downfall.

4. I care about every single human. My heart loves everyone and I even prayed for Saddam Hussein and I prayed for Yasser Arafat's soul last night. All of us can understand this all-encompassing, unconditional love deep within our hearts. How could we not care for the baby? It is a child, a human being just as we are, and therefore we love all children. Furthermore, no one's opinion on abortion counts for anything. Only the facts count, and the facts declare that life begins at conception and that it is unethical to murder a human after that time.

We even love you. We may admonish you, but it is because we want what's best for you, which is to see the truth.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
