THings keep escelating here...

Definatly want to move in with the peeps nextdoor... at least when one of them moves out... Thank God both of the rooms I can move into are both Catholics... I absolutely am furious with my roomate!

I wish not to badmouth her or make her seem more evil than she already is ^_^

But I am miserable! If I wait until the end of the semester I can move in with the chick I really want to room with... But I dunno how long I can last in here!

:help:

Dominate FNJMJ, assert some authority. What you should do is this, whenever she brings friends around preach Jesus to them, they will run. Turn your unit or whatever into a Catholic shrine, put up posters and paintings of Popes, Jesus, Moses, Saints everywhere, in your room, in the kitchen, in the living room, in the dining room, in the laundry, in the toilet, in her room if possible, EVERYWHERE! Have rosaries hanging from the light bulbs, from the ceiling, nail rosaries into the wall if you have to. Replace the "Welcome" mat with a "Jesus Loves You" mat. Play Gospel music turned up full blast, read the Bible out loud, I mean SHOUT IT OUT LOUD, try to convert anyone who comes within 10 meters of your unit (or whatever). Think FNJMJ THINK. Think posters, think stickers, think music, think out loud, think banners, think anything that attracts attention, and make it holy! Don't let her push you around, she thinks you're weak, if you're not, you will stand up for your rights. But whatever you do, DON'T LET HER WIN.

My best friend's roomate decided to up and move out the other day just because she thought my best friend had an attitude. <_<

It will all be over soon ^_^

Yeah, that is a bit much Phazzan... SHe is "offended" or rather weirded-out by the little I have already... And most of it could be used by any denomination so it's less "apalling"... :P

but I didn't love all of my college roommates... I found that finding someone who had similar values who wasn't my friend going into the roommateship worked best. (we ended up being in each others' weddings and ended up being very good friends) The times I tried living with friends, it ruined the friendship.

I have had very trying roomates also. One who was atheist and vegan among other things.

I can say that it was a pretty rough situtation, we had our fights and disagreements. And at times I just did not want to live under the same roof with them.

But..... I walked away from the experiences a better person, there are always going to be people who you just don't get along with and it smells of elderberries when you live with them. In the end though I learned not only patiencefrom living with these people, but I also started to treat other people better. I did not like the way some of my roomates treated me, so I now go out of my way not to do the inconsiderate things that they subjected me to.

I suppose you could look at it this way, in every bad situtation there is a grace-filled response. Look at it as an opportunity to act in grace.

I hope things get better.

Oooh, I had a pretty bad roommate last year.... I'll try my best not to bad mouth her, but I was scared to be her roommate, since she was involved in some illegal activities.

I was glad to be armed with a rosary and a bottle of Holy water. Come semester time, she moved out. :)

I feel sorry for her parents, they were the nicest people you could have ever met.
