azaelia
But not AS important. The protection of innocent lives will always take precedence over any other issue. End of story.
Mrs. Bro. Adam
The immediate does not always mean the most important. It took Christ 30 years to begin his ministry, and he was in that ministry for three years. He was crucified, died and was buried. He raised again. It's been 2000 years since. The fight for the sanctity of human life began when Christ was on Earth. It is an on-going fight. It never ends. If we allow a Pro-Choice candidate in office, we've set the Pro-Life movement back. As Ash Wednesday said, Kerry has never flip-flopped on one thing, and that's his support of the Pro-Choice of the woman. Any other stance or issue, he has taken one side, and then taken the other. How could we have trusted him to do the right thing, when he can't decided which thing is best? He rode the fence during the entire election. What makes anyone think he wouldn't have ridden the fence in his Presidency if he had been elected?
Ash Wednesday
[quote name='Mrs. Bro. [/quote] Right -- if Kerry would have won, nothing would have gotten done. The GOP-dominated congress would have made his four years a living hell, and he would have promptly become a one-term president.
Iacobus
They only thing I don't like is one party control of all the branchs, no matter who the party is. It really limits fruitful debate and real progress beyond just what they want. Bipartisianship is muck than.
