maydbyGOD Posted October 7, 2003 Share Posted October 7, 2003 WHY DON'T we have it at the University of Illinois they have the BIGGEST UNIVERSITY CATHOLIC CENTER IN THE FREAKIN WORLD!!! on the real.. has anyone ever heard of "Newman Center"?!?! they have one at every public university (well mostly) the one here at U of I Champaign is the biggest one in the country of USA. you guys have to have it here.. the Catholic student body at this school is HUGE.. 7 SUNDAY masses, 6 days of confession, 6 priests, 7 nuns.. etc. BIG BIG BIG!! have it here, if it's promoted right, then you guys will have a big showing. lol it's in the Center of the USA.. it's only fair! peace Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its funny you should mention it, because I was just there today praying in the Chapel (I bombed a physics test and was upset and needed someplace calm). Of course, we're a bit smaller than UIC's (1 staff member, 1 Sunday Mass said by monks from a nearby Benedictine Abbey).
