drewmeister2
I just saw they had a Young Democrats group, how sad... I hope they didn't support Kerry, but they might have. I suppose all colleges have a similar group, oh well.

the_rev
I saw that too... Since the college is also Ecumenical, let's hope the YD consisted of non-catholics... but Republican program looks good.
ForHimAlone
I recently talked with a representative from Benedictine. It looks like an AMAZING school!! Very Christ-centered and very beautiful. We should take a campus tour together!

Duc_In_Altum
They had a link to John Kerry's blog on the group's website
Campus groups are allowed basic civil liberties as they should be. What campus groups post on their links is not a reflection of what the school necessarily supports. There was a mock election on campus and the students voted about 85% for Bush. That should tell you something about the political swing on campus.
I strongly advise that you come visit if you are interested...You will fall in Love with the Campus and the Campus life...If you come visit, you can stay in my room.
He's right but Im not so sure you want to stay in andy's room. His loft is whack. Stay in mine. Im on bottom flo and we have pigs snouts in our fridge.(yes, real pig snouts- long story involving my biology lab and a hallowenn prank on my sister.....don't ask)

BLAZEr
I am a Catholic. I happen to vote republican. I do not belong to a party. HOWEVER!!! It is not the case that if you are a Catholic you have to be a Republican. You can be a Catholic and be a democrat. Such Tomfoolery.

PaxVobis
Wow, people on here from Benedictine?? Conception is just down the road! maybe we can meet up sometime.. The guy across the hall from me goes to "exult" or something sometimes at benedictine and we have 4 or 5 gradutes from there at the seminary. That's always a good sign. God bless!
