the_rev
So, I did a search on collegeboard today, for Catholic Colleges, which offer Drama and Band as extracurriculars. I found the Benedictine College. Now I've always liked St. Benedict, I remeber going to our diocese "Vocation Day" with Bishop Banks and the patron saint of the group I was in, (this was the innagural year) was ST. Benedict. Since then, I've worn his medal, becasue I really like him. When I saw Benedictine College pop up on the list, I thought it was a good college. Anyways, I'd say they have a darn good Political Science Program. So I was just wondering if you or someone you know goes there... and if they like it. Here is a link to their political science department: http://www.benedictine.edu/students.asp?pg...&showText=f#COA It offers what I want, which is a major in Political Science and a double minor, in Economics, Pre-Law or Public Administration. Thanks for the imput and prayers! God Bless, Ed
Thy Geekdom Come
Benedictine is an excellent college and I'm told it gets better every year. Talk to Theoketos about it.
the_rev
It's one of ten in the Midwest that offer both Drama and Band as extra-curriculars.

Duc_In_Altum
ABSOLUTELY!!! I actually attend there now. This school is spinnin it rediculous in really representing the Church. I love it here. Im not in any theology classes yet, but im being fed out the wazoo. Campus ministry is great and there is a total respect for orthodoxy. This school is definately on the rise. We just got off its first Koinonia retreat today and it was really a neat experience. Whatever you want to know, just ask. Fiat also goes there. We chill like villians. in Christ, -Joe Hahn
the_rev
I like their facts, that they admit 96% of all applicants. NOw I gotta look up Admissions, and tuition costs

Theoketos
Ed, If you want to see God's hand at work... If you feel called to be Christ to people who have honestly never seen or heard of Him... If you want a real spiritual battleground (Where Angels and Demons Duke it out!) If you desire holiness... If you desire stability... If you desire to see the Beauty of the Heart of America... "Listen my Child to the words of the Master" and go to Benedictine College. The Band is fun, the Poly-sci department is top notch. But most of all St. Benedict holds me close to himself, bringing me to Jesus. Tuition is average, but I do not know any one who did not have a scholarship, and the Finicial Aid Department is so awesome. drewmeister2
I actually met a representative from there at a college fair three weeks ago. She is now a doctor, working at ASU. Seemed to be a very nice person, and a beautiful campus. Does anyone know if they have good medical/biology classes?
