yeah seriously. keeping up the IRS system is just wasteful and unnecessary. simplification would be a welcome change.

If he can pull it off, privitization will save social secuirity. it's just the question of how he's gonna pull it off without hurting the people currently on social secuirty.

IRS is bad. It shouldn't have all the power it does, that's unConstitutional.

By the way, the President hasn't had time to put anything into effect. He hasn't started his term yet!

lowered taxes
brought to justice 75 % of al quieda in afganistan and brought down the sadam govt whcih had known ties to al quieda and possibly nuclear wepons or programs to develop nukes.

Gday,

i've been reading on these phorums where i got some ppl rep'in as Catholics saying they don't agree with the Catholics standpoint on politics.

See here's the thing.

Policy made, without a Catholic frame-of-mind, falls apart. Look look at Greece, Persia, Rome, and Egypt. Their societies fell because of Godless 'policy'.

Policy is like a wish-washy word for another wish-washy phrase 'commericial morality that pretends to be neither good or bad for neither bad or good reasons.'

Stupid legal positivism.

JMJ.'

I really don't like the way a lot of Kerry supporters are responding to Kerry's loss - one example I encountered on livejournal was the labelling of all Bush supporters as "retards".

I think it is really strange that so-called "socially liberal" people who are all for "equality", "free speech" and a "fair go" until they run into someone with opposing views - then they seem to snap and become judgemental whilst denigrating the opinions of opponents.
so then he dsnt have a "new" plan then right?
I don't know if he has a "new" plan or not, but something to remember is that 9/11 messed up everyone's plans, including the president's. People want to solely blame Pres. Bush for the economic troubles that we've been having, but when someone blows up two of the most important buildings in the country and thousands (if not millions) of people refuse to buy airline tickets and hundreds (if not thousands) of people lose their jobs... the economy tends to suffer.

What I'm suggesting here is that Bush's original plans of 2000 may not have had a chance to be put into action, and now that we've had some time to recover for 9/11, he's gonna try to put them into action.

Just a theory.

AMEN TO THAT!!! I've been saying this all along!!! Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this. But I've not heard this theory ONCE in all of the media three-ring circus that the election was. And I doubt we'll hear it from them in the future either...

But I remember the week that the country stood still. I live near Hobby airport here in Houston and the sound of silence that was created when those planes quit flying was eerie and almost deafening in it's own way. (Only because of the reason they weren't flying).

We as a country, are just NOW beginning to recover financially from that day. Just now.
