Run down

Lil Red

Recommended Posts

lately i've just felt very run down and busy from everything i'm doing. i am working way too much (i'm salaried, so no overtime) and i feel like i'm spending no time with my hubby, i'm currently enrolled in a laity education program in our diocese that meets the first weekend of each month (this weekend), i'm working almost every weekend, i'm working 6 days a week.

i just feel like i have no time to myself, no time with my hubby, no time to simply reflect and be....i'm the person people expect to do everything (organizing events, etc.) and i'm tired of it....i'm tired of being that person...plus, i've got personal issues going on right now that just make me wanna cry all the time (i'm handling these issues sooo well)

sorry - i just had to vent, thanks for listening. -_-

awwww... prayers...

Matthew 11:28-30 28
15 "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, 16 and I will give you rest.
29
17 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves.
30
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light."

Awww LR, Hang in there. I'm there with you and here for you if you need anything. PM me if you need to.

My prayer life has been in the dumps too. Maybe it's catching? Pray for me and I'll pray for you. And remember that God never gives us more than we can handle.

Gosh Red, now I feel sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
bad for calling you and unloading all my stuff on you.

But heres an update.
This might make you feel better.
After talking to you, and Likos I did alot of thinking.
Im letting her go. No regrets. Long story but rest assured I am fine with the decision. It's time. She needs to grow up (and shes older than me mind you) and face life. Shes acting like a rebellious teenager and the best thing to do is to back off and just be there if she needs me.

I hope you call me if you need me. You have my number.

Lil Red, you are like one of the most awesome people I've met on phatmass.

Hang in there. I feel you, girlie, but store up your treasures in heaven!

I'm sure when you get there there's going to be a big treasure chest with your name on it.

St. Therese said that she was going to give everything she had. And when she had nothing, she would give that nothing.

And sometimes you just need some time to yourself. Don't feel guilty. Jesus left for 40 days to be by himself.

Ever heard of Marriage Encounter??? Just a suggestion.

But don't let your marriage suffer. That's a sacrament!

You are in my prayers as I go to all night adoration. Thank you for all the little things you have done for me. Truly I am blessed.

This might sound odd, but this is the only way I know how to say it. If I had a husband (no jokes please) I would quit my job in a second. :)

God bless,

no, i like to hear other's problems (for lack of a better word) because it makes me feel needed and useful....don't worry about unloading on me, because the phamily supports each other....and i know you'll be there for me if i need ya...;)

and on the other, i will continue praying for you and her, and be assured of these prayers...if you feel this is what you need to do right now, then i support you in your decision....and i'm always here for ya, girl!! :D

:sadder: prayers please....i did junior high youth group tonight...it went horribly, i couldn't get them to settle down, we couldn't get anything done.....

on another note...i can't get any volunteers to help with junior high or high school youth ministry....nobody wants to help...i can't pay people to help me at this point....i've talked to the church at mass, i've had a ministry information night to get more helpers....at this point i really hate my job, and i don't want to do it right now....and i've tried talking to my bosses about this, they don't want to hear it, they just want someone to do the job and not complain about it or hear any problems....

i'm just really frustrated right now and i wanna cry really hard and i just ask your prayers please.....thank you everybody!

:sadder: :sadder: Prayers for you, and for your co-workers. Sheesh, you'd think they could be a bit more compassionate. There seems to be a general lack of spirituality among those who work in Churches these days. They're all business at the office. Seems very strange to me.

Ok, sending up some prayers now. Hang in there. Take a deep breath and get a good night's sleep. Things always look better in the am. Have a good cry if necessary. And a cup of tea.

:( Love you!

PS. As for the kids remember, you may not feel as if you're reaching them now, but you never know what you're doing that may be reaching them, and it may not reach them until later. As St. Therese used to say, (roughly) "If I can save only one soul then it has been worth it" Not the most encouraging thing on a human level, but in the light of eternity.... :D
