The Soldier and his grass

I hope the picture will go through for you too see this Army soldier in Iraq
with his tiny "plot" of grass in front of his tent. It's heartwarming!

Here is a soldier stationed in Iraq, dwelling in a big sand box. He asked
his wife to send him dirt, fertilizer and some grass seeds so he can have
the sweet aroma and feel the grass grow beneath his feet.

If you notice, he is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors.
Sometimes we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the
little things that we take for granted.

Upon receiving this, please say a prayer for our soldiers that give (and
give up) so unselfishly for us.

my friend's fiance is over there. she's 19, he's 21. if he hadn't gone over there, you can bet that they wouldn't be getting married so quickly, this is her first year of college and he hasn't even been able to start yet with all the training and being over there almost a year now, but something about seeing men and women dying all around you spers you into action. they are sacrificing so much. keep them in your prayers.

Prayer's for your friend's fiance!

I've watched my brother leave for a year over there already and welcomed him home with tears and now I get to see him leave again around the end of the year or in Jan.

Prayers for all our troops!
