All sides I'm sure will agree on that, and work for that. This has been a problem w/ the bussing of voters, fake votes by dead people and stuff, esp. in the bigger cities.

I am absolutely shocked. I've been voting for 25+ years in Florida and you have always had to have an ID as a minimum. If you don't have an ID AND your voter card, you get scrutinized and have to know your address while they hold your ID stuff. You always have had to sign in too and they have a copy of your address to check your ID and memory. It was a little stricter today. Everybody had to know their address they were registered under. If you don't have proper ID and stuff, you use a "provisional" ballot that gets double checked later by the Supervisor of Elections. I am so shocked that people were making fun of Florida, and it sounds like we've had our shinola together much better then everyone else (at least here in Hillsborough County). I just hope a winner is by a large margin and it all doesn't go to Court.

It's embarassing that people actually pull this carp, but lot's of Dems think they were rooked in Florida and think they have justificatin to steal back the Presidency. The only problem is that the two problem Counties are the worst partisan Counties in the State, and Broward and Dade have the biggest problem with all kinds of fraud in government, police, insurance, crime, etc. The rest of Florida doesn't expect much legitimacy from South Florida anyway. <_<

You must not live in a small town :D
We walk and they say "Ah you are so and so's" mom [ neighbor, cousin, aunt, or kids]
when they remember who we are, we sign our name and vote.

I live in Chicago, no ID check, just had to sign my name.

But one of the election judges was one of the ladies from my parish bible study group.

i really hope that no matter who wins....the process gets streamlined and is the same across the board...from state to state.
