toledo_jesus
Metallica is by far one of the best bands ever. In the Universe.
Dreamweaver
I'm a fan of Metallica's old stuff, like Black album and earlier. Their new stuff, is NOT Metallica! Sometimes they're overplayed on the radio, but it only seems to be a few songs that are on the radio. I could have seen them this summer, but $75 for a ticket was a bit spendy, since I already went to a bunch of concerts during the summer.
Phazzan
I was a MASSIVE Metallica fan back in the day, I think everyone went through a stage with Metallica. Black was their best album, no doubt, and Load was awesome too. 'One' will stand as the greatest Metallica song of all time. In their hay day, they were pure brilliance, now the cr.ap they release these days is just awful. Garage Inc will always be a good party album, imo. cathoholic
u could talk about creeping death here, like does it really go well with exodus and stuff.
my little bro is a huge exodus fan, I like "piranna" it has a crazy intro, not a big fan of the lyrics (not much to say, it's more about the music) or the voice(s) how many singers have they had? Anywho they're pretty bad. Oh yeah, I agree with phazzan (has anyone ever said that at phatmass?... j/k phazzan) the black album was the best. Socrates
James Hetfield has been the singer since very early (I think through all their albums), but his voice/vocal style has changed over the years, particularly between And Justice For All and Black. He's gone from sounding like a screaming teenage kid to more of a huskier, macho growl. For some weird reason, I like James' voice (maybe because I sort of sing like him - probably says more about his lack of singing ability than my talent!) "Every time a man lies, He murders some part of the world. All this I cannot bear to witness any longer. Cannot the Kingdom of Salvation come take me home?" ~ "To Live is to Die" (...And Justice for All) Cliff Burton, RIP Edited November 12, 2004 by Socrates
