My political experiences...

Hey everyone,

As my career politics advances, here is what has happened over the past few days.

After the founding of our counties, "Future Young Republicans" I have been elected as the president of the group. My endorsments on political canidates in our state had a big impact I believe on me winning the "minor" election for this position.

I was invited for dinner at our local assemblyman's house. When I arrived he wasn't there. But his wife was, so we were talking. She said that he had told her so much about me, and how I'm a good person. And how he thought I have a definite future in politics.

I went on to tell her, I planned on double majoring, in Music Education and Political Science. She asked me what instrument I play, and I told her saxaphone. She told me, "Well, it's gonna be nice having a saxaphone playing president in the white house one day." I'm like, I just met you, and you have high aspirations for me.

Supper was good. (This was yesterday)

Today the president came to NE Wisconsin.

I was a VIP at the event, and it was a major encouragment in my future in politics.

Finally, no revelancy to politics, I ordered my class ring, and should have it by christmas!

This has been my exciting weekend! Really has been exciting!!! :D

Awesome, Eddie!

It'll be good to have a real Catholic president in office. ;)

...perhaps one who can curb the persecution...

You do need someone to help you with your writing skills, though. :P

I suggest you nominate Colleen and Dave as your speech people.

Sweet Candy!

If you need a speechwriter, I'll volunteer too...

Plus you're a Republican, and I'm Canadian, and that seems to be the trend.

One just might be president... Only in America.

Today though at the rally. They had a filmstrip of Bush and Post 9-11, with like the Yankee Pitch of the world series, and stuff like that, and his compassionate side.

I'm like, this is the reason, because of W, why I want to be a politician.

double majoring in poli sci and music education?!? speaking from experience, you are crazy man!!!! most people at my school have trouble keeping a music education major. i am one of the few that is actually almost all the way through. it is not easy at all. maybe a music minor would be better since you seen interested in politics....concentrate on the political side and do the music thing on the side. also keep in mind that if you do choose to double major, you will be in school for more than four years because i'm afraid poli sci and music ed don't have much common ground as far as the curriculum is concerned.

just a small piece of advice from someone who's been there.

That would be cool. That's what my parents think my brother should be...and I agree, quite frankly...
Also, I just did a little math on my puter, and found out that our local assemblyman took office at age 25!
*does some math*
What year in high school are you? If you're junior or below (I'm guessing you're sophomore), you should apply to be a House Page. When I was focused on being a politiian, something which I've kind of cooled greatly upon, I did it, and it was a wonderful experience. I'm still really glad I did it. You can either do it for this summer (if you are a soph), part of (or maybe all of) your junior year, or the summer after your junior year.
