Ash Wednesday

Schilling cancelled his appearance with Bush, citing his injury. He also said something about him having voted for Bush but perhaps shouldn't have been so up front with his opinion.

Why do I get the feeling that he was threatened? Perhaps even with his life?

I wouldn't put that past people on the radical left that really, really hate Bush.

:(

Hey, he's already made his comment. He's done enough damage already :)

It's funny though, how hollywood actors can promote Kerry as much as they want, but Bush supporters are forcing their political views on people <_<

One of the Baldwins was on Day-Side this morning. (I think it was Steve.) We was a Bush supporter. His statements where well thought out and sound.

Stephen Bladwin is my hero :punk: I think he converted to Christianity (I once heard someone say he was Catholic, but I'm not sure if that's true). Alec is so liberal too! I can't even imagine Thanksgiving at that house

I think I know which Baldwin you're talking about -- there's one that became "Born Again" and he was on TV during the RNC and his comments about faith were very concise and intelligent.

Time to get them Baldwin boys back tight with the Church though. They're Catholic. ;)

Yeah, Stephen (The Usual Suspects, Half Baked) is the only Baldwin who isn't a hard-left liberal. I still wonder if Alec will move out of the country if Bush wins again? Haven't heard anything from him.

Yeah, he's a convert from Catholicism. He said it was pretty meaningless to him growing up. I don't blame him nor do I blame the Church. The 1960's and 1970's were some of the most liberal times in the Catholic Church and many aspects of the Church were (and still are in some places) marginalized. It takes an outreach from Catholics to reach back and let them know the truth.

It would be like Thanksgiving at ours.

One of my brothers is somewhat liberal non-practicing, another is "born again", and then there is me and my other brother, the two still-practicing Catholics (though he is more liberal than I am...) I guess I'm the one who ended up the "straight Catholic arrow" like mom. ;)
