I think it originated as a mix between a language a bunch of stupid kids like me came up with to spell things on their calculators with numbers and just fads in th English language... HomeTeamFamily
its a whole phenomenon called "leet speak"......the leet being for elite as micah has pointed out earlier..... basically i think its a way to designate the computer nerds from everyone else it has its origins on like online game message boards some of the common phrases are: pwnt (owned, i think someone typoed and it caught on), and then stuff where you just substitute numbers in for like E (3), A (4), T (7), I(1), etc i dont know the origins of the whole 0r thing but it sounds cool on the end of words like r0x0r, flex0r, etc...... it all boils down to a nerdy way of talking/typing am i a nerd for knowing this?
