This is something that I've read about, but don't remember, probably cause I never really comprehended.

Can someone help me, please?

do you just want to know about the sacrament in general?

basically, confirmation is the sacrament in which receive charisms of the holy spirit w/ the purpose of strengthening us in our defense against temptation and in our attempt to live our faith. it is our responsibility as catholics to discern which gifts and charisms we have received, and use those for the benefit of the church. this basically includes any way in which the Lord has empowered us to reflect well upon the church........be it by helping others, being charitable, defending catholicism, living the faith, being an effective witness, resisting temptation, striving for justice and peace, or any other good.

i think the misconception involved here is that confirmation is a right of passage, that one's reception of confirmation marks a time when that person is mature in spirit or knowledgeable of the faith. this is simply not the intention of the sacrament. confirmation does not mark a maturity already attained, its equips us to attain that maturity. see the difference?
