Okay true but still

It was is brothers state ... and media are not always true even for a year ... Gore should have won but it was riged because IT WAS BUSH'S BROTHERS STATE
Wrong.

Why is it that the democrats are always saying it was rigged when they loose?

There is a quote from Aesop that explains it very well and it's so true....

"He who mistrusts most should be trusted least."

For those who have a hard time drawing the logic to this, I'll spell it out for you...

We all tend to assume to some degree that people are generally like "us".... that's why the most naive people are the most trusting, they think that people are honest like them.... likewise, when someone is a liar and a cheat, they will always accuse others of lying and cheating.

Basic facts.... and a little basic psychology... general rule mind you, there are always exceptions, but not in the dems case.
Its not a sin to vote for kerry

And i dont belive in mixing politics with religion ... that why we have seperation of church and stae... the church shouldnt have to tell anyone how to run a country or anything

so the answer to your question im democrat before cathlic ....
Then you are not Catholic.

"Seperation of Church and State"... you don't even know what it means.

You should have paid attention in school.... so put on your thinking cap and get schooled....

First, we're going to cover what is in the Constitution.

1st Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

If you would have been paying attention during your basic American History classes since you were a child, you would know that "Separation of Church and State" applies to the government forcing religion on the people. This was entered into the constitution because of a little country called England (it's across the Atlantic). England forced their King's religion on the people. Our Founding Fathers did not want us to have religion forced on us. Therefore the above amendment was created. Then a guy named Benjamin Franklin was explaining the above amendment to someone and explained it as "Separation of Church and State", meaning that the government would not force religion on it's people.

The Founding Fathers stated that they want the laws of the US to be based on the Ten Commandments from the Bible. One of these little laws is that "You shall not murder".

Now, let's get back to the other parts of that little amendment...

"Congress shall make no law... prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

We have a constitutional right to exercise our religion, and that is to promote the morals that are in the Bible and that have been handed down for the last 2000 years. The Church Bishops have every right to say it's a sin to vote for Kerry because he supports the murder of unborn children. This is where a little common sense and knowledge would have gotten you a long way. If you would stop sitting in your little cubical thinking up the answers to life's rights and wrongs all by your lonesome self and applied just a little study and thought, maybe you would not have drawn such an asinine conclusion that the Church is violating "Separation of Church and State" - Which is not in the constitution! Get educated on the topics before you try to talk about them.

Having a higher standard for morals, such as DO NOT MURDER, is NOT forcing religion on the people.

Only a fool puts men before God, or someone who has no belief in God.

If you knew the admendmants, then you would not have applied seperation of Church and State wrongly.

If you don't believe in God, why do you claim that your Catholic?

There is so much proof to believe in God if you look in the right places and ask the right questions.

Hey J.R.D., if you don't believe in God very much, but think He might be there, I'd say go find Him. Look long and hard; if you care. But don't close your heart to Him. Look for Him, and don't stop until you find Him. Cuz He's there. And He's waiting for you.

I was saying that you keep chaging the argument. Cmom said most military people are voting Bush. It's true. You then said that most people you know aren't voting Bush. That's just lashing out, and completely changing the subject.

Its a sin to vote for any politican that votes to kill children.

If you are a moral person your ethics and morality are formed by your religion and are a part of you.

You certainly cannot leave your ethics and morality outside the voting booth.

The Church doesn't tell people how to run the country, but it does tell people who claim to be catholic how to behave. I expect a policeman to follow the rules of being a policeman, I expect a Catholic to act like a catholic.
