White Knight
Hello all, I was wondering about "The Illuminati" Ive been browsing websites about it, and its kind of hard to believe the information displayed out there, about them. Ive read the History, and all their attempts to disprove Christian Values, and Laws and such. throughout a time reasonable length of time. My questions are, how strongly does the Catholic Church see the Illuminati in todays world? How much does the Illuminati control? and Are they what most people think they are? I personally believe they are a Satanic Cult. Does the Catholic Church see this too? I see The Illuminati as a Satanic/Occultic group that likes to deceive the world, with propaganda, With Science, Paranormal activity, etc etc. My Bigger Question is, Why does it seem like Christians are so Silent to talk about the Illuminati in Public? and its True egenda?

Winchester
Since the Illuminati are for all appearances defunct, there's no reason to speak out until they're proven to exist in said form. The ill done by secret societies is declaimed by the Church in her teachings, so there really is no "silence" per se, it's just not directed at specific entities such as the AISB. A real conspiracy group will not take a name, will not have a roll call. it will be built of individuals in key positions who can influence and control other individuals in other key positions, advancing toward some common goal. A group like the Illuminati, who have a name and therefore a sort of profile, would be a tool for a real conspiratorial group with a serious hope of global control. fnord
White Knight
But thats the thing though, they place propraganda out there, and they have decepation after decepation to fool people, to cover up their tracks, like I said before, they use Science, alot to cover up their true nature. toledo_jesus
I don't think they matter anymore. If they ever did. There are some who think they still influence the world, and they may. However, the world isn't that important. We care about other things.
I think the three main reasons why religious people do not talk about Illuminati, Free Masons, Rosicrucians, The Knights Of Templar, Paranormal Occurences and other wonderings is because most may not be aware of such things as Brother Adam’s post has pointed out. The second reason is that the awareness might lead to a conflict of faith which may question not only their relationship with GOD but their position and status on this planet. The third reason could be that most religious people may not care about these interests and usually put it “in GOD’s hands” to sort out matters like these. Personally, I think it is a fascinating subject and I like to keep myself aware and educated on such matters as paranormal activities, conspiracy theories, etc. I was also disappointed that your NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES thread (Posted: Sep 30 2004, 01:48 AM) did not receive more attention, though it should validate (to some extent) the answers I provided above. The NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE is an amazing subject that should make anyone who believes in a Higher Source stand up and take notice. Brother Adam
I have heard of Free Masons....I get it now. I stayed in a church once and right across from the street was a Church of Satan. There was a strong spiritual war going on there. You could feel it in the air.
Sanvean
Oh... the memories from my wild youth. After a time, I realized that Descartes was wrong. The tragedy! The pineal glad did, after all, have a physiological purpose... no longer can we say it's the exact point where the soul meets the body! Alas. But then I shrugged, and started giving my pineal gland the silent treatment. Immature? Perhaps, but it worked. However, I am still somewhat convinced that all things happen in fives, or are divisible by or are multiples of five, or are somehow directly or indirectly appropriate to 5. I was, indeed, a member of the Bavarian Illuminati! Don't tell... they might hunt me down! I've since moved on, and started living as a *gasps* grown-up. There is no Illuminati... there is greater darkness in this world to worry about than such conspiracy theories. edit: to fix a bit of a confusion between the letter "f" and "g" Edited October 25, 2004 by Sanvean

D0RK4JP2
Gday, Here's a link to the most comprehensive book on Freemasonry, written by Albert Pike, a 32nd Degree FM. >>>http://www.freemasons-freemasonry.com/apikefr.html That'll keep you going until you are old and hairy. Now, here's a link to a whole STACK of CATHOLIC stuff to read against the FM's. Most of this stuff isn't sensationalist, conspiracy-theory hype, so it's all worth a read. >>>http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/praeternatural/page%202%20b.htm That will keep you going until you're dead in the grave . If you want to know more you can add me on my MSN. I'm more than willing to talk on the subject. JMJ.
