Is Prophet Muhammad In Your Holy Books?

"It is written in the prophets: 'They shall all be taught by God.' "

-Jesus Christ, John 6:45

Jake didn't say Jesus was a mere prophet. Prophet means teacher. Jesus is THE Prophet to which all prophets point to. The Prophet, or teacher, who is God incarnate.

Anyway, Jesus parallels Moses in many ways. His sermon on the mount is like Moses going up the mountain. He gives the two greatest commandments: You shall love the Lord your God with all your soul, and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

1- Neither is Muhammad's name

2-It didn't say He will raise up a prophet exactly like him, infact i believe it says somewhere around there that He will raise a prophet greater than Him.

3-He is miraculously born-- a prophet greater than moses

4-not exactly like moses in every aspect of life, just a PROPHET like him

5-Jesus gave the 2 greatest commandments. Jesuss perfectly fulfilled the Law, i believe that is why He is prophesied after the law is written. The law is completed when Jesus comes. He is the last prophet, the one to which all prophets point to, the complete fulfillment of the law and the prophets.

6- THe prophet who is coming is greater than moses. Thus, it is GOd. Is it not written in the prophets, 'They shall all be taught by God.' ?

7-again, a prophet greater than moses and not EXACTLY like him

8-"and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him." MY WORDS-- The word of God who is Jesus Christ is always begotten of the Father, that the Father puts the words in His mouth and Jesus teaches the People in the name of the Lord. in Biblical times, a name was someone's entire identity. He speaks in the identity of the LORD. Jesus fulfills this better than Muhammed.

anyway, i enjoy conversing with u ayed. please respond when u have the chance.

Peace of Christ!

I believe that was refering to Jesus. Priest, Prophet, King.

Wow! It "clearly" doesn't say Jesus is NOT God.

I just confirmed that Jesus is Priest, Prophet, and King.

And if you must know which kingdom Jesus is "King", my answer will be as equally frank: The Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus is God!

Sorry if I lead you to believe I had changed my mind.

Jesus being a prophet doesn't negate him being God anymore than the fact that he is also human.

I hope all is well with you, Ayed.

God bless you.

Ayed

General prophecy can apply to more than one person.

THat is why the Old Testament has many prophets:Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah,

Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Malachi, Elijah,

and the greatest JESUS!

This might be a little off-subject, but I have a question for you, ayed.

Whenever you put the name Mohammad in your messages, you put "PBUH" after it. What does that mean?

I gotta put mine in that I have absolutely no belief that the Muslim religion sprang from Ismail, as no such religion existed prior to Mohammed's unfortunate misunderstanding of the doctrine of the Trinity and his subsequent religious writings.

In the name of Allah , the Most compassionate, the Most gracious

Thanks for your following up our topic.I really appreciate your times spent on responding to my questions.

I , again, apologize for not answering your comments or questions on time. This is due my familial circumstances, work , and other stuff as you do know and you daily experience.

Again, I appreciate you patience with me.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Ayed) :Mr.The Dude , it pleases me to share your beliefs with us and comment on the topic.

Kindly , Mr.The Dude ,let us just stick to the glad tiding mentioned above.

(Mr.Aloysius):” "It is written in the prophets: 'They shall all be taught by God.' "

-Jesus Christ, John 6:45

(Ayed) :Mr. Aloysius , do you not see Jesus had clearly confessed that he was a prophet NOT a God.

(Aloysius)”Jesus is THE Prophet to which all prophets point to. The Prophet, or teacher, who is God incarnate”

(Ayed): Mr. Aloysius , sorry , please do not defend for Mr.Jake Heuther unless he has chosen you to be his legal lawyer , :) . I just love to read everyone’s own comments and answers. Again, this is another obvious evidence stating that Jesus(PBUH) is a prophet NOT a God.This is an irrefutable facts.

(Aloysius)”His sermon”Jesus” on the mount is like Moses(PBUH)going up the mountain”

(Ayed): So was Muhammad at the age of 40 years, confined himself in Hera cave , 3 miles from Makkah , worshipping Allah Who sent down revelation , archangiel--Gabriel to Muhammad .Gabriel(PBUH) commanded Muhammd in Arabic tongue , by Allah’s will, asking him:

”read” Muhammad was frightened and answered :”I won’t read”

All that I have mentioned is apparently consistent with the following verse of your holy book(Isaiah) saying:

and so Gabiel did command Muhammad one more and Muhammad refuse to read.

(Aloysius) : “It didn't say He will raise up a prophet exactly like him, infact i believe it says somewhere around there that He will raise a prophet greater than Him”

(Ayed) :Mr.Aloysius , could you prove your statement”

(Aloysius)”3-He is miraculously born-- a prophet greater than moses”

(Ayed)So, Muhammad like Moses.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

(Aloysius) “:

4-not exactly like moses in every aspect of life, just a PROPHET like him”

5-:..”He is the last prophet”

(ayed):” Mr. Aloysius , you obviously confirmed that Muhammad , as shown capitalized, a prophet like Moses. However, you instantly shifted and falsified your statement by saying Jesus is the last prophet. How come , man? :)

(Aloysius)”THe prophet who is coming is greater than moses. Thus, it is GOd. Is it not written in the prophets, 'They shall all be taught by God.' ?”

(Ayed):, :) Mr.Aloysius , mind you , in the verse above:” like unto thee”, (like unto thee ,Moses). Please no more fallacies.

(Aloysius) :In No.5 you clearly stated:”He is the last prophet” you meant Jesus. In No.6 , you apprently cited :”It is written in the prophets: 'They shall all be taught by God”

(Ayed) : First , focus on the phrases”in the prophet” and the determiner “all”, what can be deduced is that :

Jesus is a prophet like others.

He is not a God at all and was taught by Allah.

If you say that Jesus is a God , then ,

How can a God puts His words in His own mouth!Does God command Himsel?

Can you clarify this contradictions?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Jake Heuther) : “just confirmed that Jesus is Priest, Prophet, and King”

(Ayed) :”facts are ther and cannot be hidden .If Jesus is a God , you would have mentioned him firstly.

(Jake Heuther)” Jesus being a prophet doesn't negate him being God anymore than the fact that he is also human”

(Ayed): Mr. Jake Heuther, what is in “deep insight” is always uttered .

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Ayed)Mr.cmotherofpirl, thank you for your comments .The intended prophet in the verse “like unto thee” is Moses.Could please replace each prophet solely with the phrase “like thee”to figure out how these glad tidings can work? I hope you try to do so.

And then read the following :

“Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face”(Deut 34:10)

So, Are all prophecies in (Deut, 18:18) applicable to all prophets you mentioned? Just test them.

(Aloysius):” i figured that out. he used to spell it out Peace Be Upon Him now he just abreviates, it means peace be upon him”

(Ayed) : Exactly so.

(Ayed) Thank you ,Mr.Winchester , for your irrelevant comments on the topic.

I am sure that you unintentionally did not read the whole stuff--the opic being discussed.

my regards

Islam, as Christians understand it, didn't pre-exist Muhammad. But the Bible does seem to think that the Arabs (fellow Semites of the Israelites) are descendants of Ishmael, one of Abraham's other sons. The Christians saw early Muslims as a heretical branch of Christianity. The cousin of Muhammad's first wife Khadijah was a Christian 'guru' of some sort.

The verse from Deuteronomy says, 'I will raise for them a Prophet like you from among their own brethren...' This Prophet has to be Jewish! He's from 'among their own brethren'. There is nothing in the Bible about any significant prophet coming from outside of the Jewish tribes.

Check out this site: http://answering-islam.org/Gilchrist/muhammad.html

We've had God reveal himself to us in Jesus Christ, our Lord and God. Why would we want to then take a different gospel from any man or angel? The Bible tells us that if anyone comes preaching a different Gospel, even if it is an angel from heaven (like Muhammad's claim that Gabriel came to him), then let him be anathema: 'But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!' (Galatians 1.8-9).

Peace!

I have a mistrust of self-proclaimed prophets who claim angels brought them a message from God. Two come readily to mind: Muhammed and Joseph Smith.
