Theoketos
False statement. Beauty is objective. Why? Beacause God, who is The Beautiful is the standard and all things are more or less beautiful depending on how close they are to or how much they participate in, to His Beauty.
God's objective beauty is only analogous (similar) and not univocal (totally differing) or equivocal (totally the same) to man's subjective beauty. The attribute is only beautiful in as much as it is subject to God... .. which I might add in each person hood is unique, but is for the same end every time, and that is the communion with the triune God. Theoketos
I think that we are all in agreement, Beauty is Objective, but we are subjected to and thus understand in different ways, for example the damned will not understand or comprehend God as beautiful truth perfection, even though God is. Apotheoun
I've been to all three, but I prefer the Byzantine Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom and St. Basil.
