Mrs. Bro. Adam
I'm stuck with this icky, icky cold. It stinks. It really does. It'd be nice if I could just start the week over, cause I would take some viatimin C before bed, and start fighting this cold before it went into full effect. But no...I have to get the cold, and not take Viatimin C. You know...that's the one thing about working in the service industry that I absolutely distain. The germs! Germs, germs, germs! No wondering people in the service industry always have a cold, or other ailment. Cause their customers lovingly give it to them.. I guess passing on an ailment is just one way of saying, "Thank you". Well..they can keep their 'Thank You' cause I don't want it. Do you want the "Thank You" I'm stuck with? I'll gladly give it to ya!
Andrea348
[quote name='Mrs. Bro. There is nothing like have a classroom full of 3 year olds who all have the disgusting, thick, green runny noses. And of course they are not capable of wiping it themselves, so the teacher spend all day with a box of tissues in their hands. I only worked for two days, but I know I am getting the same thing. Mrs. Bro. Adam
I usually only get sick once a year. Which is pretty amazing considering all the people I come into contact with. What I find humorous is that if the employee has an ailment, then the customers have this look of fear on their face. But if a customer has an ailment, then they have a look like everything's normal. They don't want to get sick from the employee, but it's like it doesn't even cross their mind that they can get sick from another customer, too! People.... heyyoimjohnny
I hear that if you feel like you're coming down with something, you should take a shower and alternate between really cold and really hot water (don't burn yourself, though). It stimulates the immune system.

cmotherofpirl
Yes my coffin [sniff sniff] my $300 perwinkle blue satin lined coffin!!!!!!!! I would change one thing: keep that 300 pound idiot out of my haunted house. !!!!! He was to play the judge, he couldn't find the gavel so he used the claw end of a hammer on the judges desk which took a whole day to build  He splintered the entrire top so I have to replace and we have only been open one day. homeschoolmom
Pity about the coffin, Cmom... In theory, I'm supposed to get sick all the time. I don't have a spleen. But I worked in daycare and teaching (which are supposed to be... um... immune building professions) and I was hardly ever sick. I still hardly ever get sick.
