musturde
I was praying for a soul in purgatory. I told Jesus, that I wanted to adopt someone in prayer that needed the prayer. This was after I read a book about the Amazing secrets of the souls in purgatory. After a week of prayer, I get up during the night to get milk, and when I awoke, there was a man there with a candle, and said thank you, then left. I was freaked out. But I told the parish priest, and thought it could well be the soul coming back to thank me.
WHOA! I'm never praying for the poor souls again! musturde
btw, this is my theory so far, I may be wrong so feel free to correct me, I don't believe in ghosts, unless they are poor souls or demons. I believe if somethings TRYING to spook u for no reason, it's a demon.
musturde
I saw a doorknob unlock itself, turn several times then open wide with no man, beast or wind around. My friend said it started happening after his dad was murdered. Kinda freaky.
btw, ur friends dad may be trying to give a reminder of more prayers... i dont know the family so I have no clue. just a theory.

immaculata
There is a cemetary in our town that has a weird monument- there are four HUGE stone chairs that face north, south, east, and west, and in the middle is a strange-looking stone 'altar'/table with a book carved on top that has strange characters carved in the pages. The chairs are about eight feet tall each and placed about 30 yards away from each other. (this is no joke, I've actually gone and seen this cemetary) The "rumor" is that if you go into the cemetary and sit in each of the chairs for 15 minutes, starting with the one facing north and going clockwise, that you will die in increments of three- either 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years, etc.. apparently a few years ago a girl tried this and died 12 weeks later (3 months) in a car accident, so the cemetary removed one of the chairs, but you can still see the imprint in the ground where it was............. :skitzo: What a bunch of baloney! edit: note to the Peoria phatmassers- go to Swan Lake cemetary off route 150 near the new mall and see it for yourself! Luthien
I can't be a saint, I'm gonna be married, and have children, and be a politician.
St Elizabeth Anne Seton was a married woman. Many kings and queens were saints and they were married. God makes saints out of people with all kinds of vocations. Ouiji boards are so evil. Someone I know had one, and they got freaked. So they decided to burn it. They threw it in the furnace and it wouldn't burn up. So, he said "In the name of Jesus Christ I order you to burn," and it burst into flames...
heyyoimjohnny
Demons are scary. I have dreams about them. But, in the dreams, I pray to St. Michael and they go away.
Theoketos
I can't be a saint, I'm gonna be married, and have children, and be a politician.
That means that you will have to be extra holy... I find it hard to believe that you think married people can not be saints...
