the_rev
Hey everybody, I called our State Capital today, here in Wisconsin, and I left a message for the person that got me the tickets to the Presidential rally. I asked her how I would go about getting tickets for the Vice Presidential Rally in Green Bay. So she called back and left me a message, she said, "I have the tickets arranged, you should be receiving the tickets by FedEx tomorrow. I basically said, Jump, and they jumped! This is so cool! I'm getting high on the political spectrum, but yet I'm only 15! ironmonk
I am going to a John Edward's rally in Iowa in two days.
Wear a pro-life t-shirt. Remember, it will be a sin to vote for kerry. According to Cardinal Ratzinger, the Pope, and numerous other Bishops. All who read this have been informed, the Church has spoken, so no one can say that it's ok if my conscience says to. The matter is at an end. Jesus is on the cross, and asks you "choose". Christ or sin.... which do you choose? God Bless, ironmonk
Iacobus
I chose to go to a poltical rally because I am intrested in poltics and I had the chance. There is no way I could get into a Bush rally with the pre screened aduinces. So I go to the Edward's one.

I still think it would be cool if you wore a pro-life t-shirt and carried a rosary and prayed it while there. I might be meeting President Bush on Saturday. I'll have my pro-life shirt on, and my daughter with me. God Bless, ironmonk

Iacobus
I would wear a pro life shirt, but I don't own one. So, I won't be clad in one.
EcceNovaFacioOmni
I skipped Kerry when he came to our town. Catholics Against Kerry was there though. Cheney will be here in a week or so but I probably won't go to see him. I am satisfied for just for having met the President. Iacobus, Bush rallies are pre-screened? Ash Wednesday
I don't know how you could handle being in a big building with Kerry/Edwards supporters, or at least, pro-choicers, Iacobus ... I know I couldn't. But if you're going, pray while you are there. The Democrat candidate for governor here, Chris Gregoire, was giving a speech at our local coffee house right when I was just getting my lunchtime coffee. Man, I just wanted to get a coffee! I couldn't handle all the pro-choicers in the building (I mean they support her, and she is pro-choice), handing out stickers and all that. I'm glad one of them didn't try to give me a sticker. I would have scowled and muttered, "No. I just want my coffee." Actually what would have been funny is if I told her to take that roll of stickers and put them on the toilet paper holder in the bathroom. But the overwhelming urge to leave was too much. I had to leave without getting my coffee. Now that was a hard decision for me. Okay, maybe not. I bought a coffee elsewhere. And I'm definitely voting for her opponent, Dino Rossi. Good Catholic man. His family's story about their dog named "Dubya" is really funny.

Iacobus
I have seen the shirts around at retreats, but I don't have a ton of spare change. TheDude, yes the Buh rallies are pre screened for anto Bushies. They don't want Bush to have to answer real hard questions. Okay, I am probly being overly anti Bush, lol, but I think he gets off with few real hard questions and stuff.
