Never Tell Your Wife

One night when I climbed into bed, my wife asked "Are you going to turn the computer off"? I said, "I'd rather you do it." She stormed off into the living room to sulk.

Never mind the fact that I left a very sweet message to her on the computer's screen saver that she would've seen on the screen when she was supposed to go into the computer room instead of the living room. So much for my clever, romantic ways...

I have the bestest hubby... too bad he'll never read this or he'd know that he's the best. Oh well... I guess I'll have to :sadder: TELL HIM!!!

Matt did the dishes twice for me this week.... the sink is now full from the past 2 days, we've been out most of the day so I haven't had time to wash them yet... tomorrow morning you know what I'll be doing. Ugh... I hate dishes. Matt never says I should clean up after him but he does seem to think he shouldn't have to clean up since he works and earns all the money.... Boys.

And yet I still love him more than anything.

Doesn't there have to be a division of labor at some point? I don't think I would want to get married if I was to be expected to work all day, then come home and take care of the house and baby. This is just an honest question, directed at everyone. Isn't that a bit much?

Mrs. Bro. Adam

How about this question:

Why should the wife be expected to hold a job and a half?

Being a housewife is a full-time job, and I also hold a part-time job. Should I be expected to go to work, come home, clean all day, and then when I have a child, hold full responsibility for that?

Marriage is 100%-100%. Sometimes husbands have to help their wives out. It's a way of honoring them.
